Actor Sathish was last seen on screens in the sports comedy movie Sumo helmed by director S P Hosimin with actors Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles. The Sattam En Kaiyil actor recently inked his signature for a new venture christened Pathu Naal Raaja. Story teller Guru Saravanan, who has delivered ventures like Koogle Kuttappa and Guardian, will be helming the drama.
Malayalam actress Sharanya R Nair of Maradona fame will be making her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the drama. Telugu actor Aadi Sai Kumar, son of actor Sai Kumar will also be opening his account in Kollywood with a prominent part in the entertainer. The film recently went on floors with a small pooja ceremony in Chennai. The production unit has now shared the news on social media.

Pathu Naal Raaja Sathish Sharanya Nair
A couple of stills shared by actor Sathish from the pooja ceremony has him along with actress Sharanya R Nair dressed in black posing together as a couple. Two other snaps have the entire team posing after the first shot of the flick. The production house has planned to complete the shoot for the entertainer in three tight schedules. They are eyeing to release the movie in theaters in the month of June.
Apart from Sathish, Sharanya R Nair, and Aadi Sai Kumar, the casting unit of Pathu Naal Raaja also has actors Black Pandi, Singam Puli, Sriranjani, Saravanan, Senthilkumar Balaraman, and Sudarshan essaying various supporting roles. Music director Ghibran Vaibodha has been trusted with the musical division of the entertainer. Pathu Naal Raaja marks his first collaboration with actor Sathish.
Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has been brought on board to handle the cinematography department of the film. Art director G Durairaj will be designing the background for the drama. The production team is currently zeroing in on the rest of the artists that will work on the technical side of the film. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon. On the professional side, actor Sathish will soon have a release in Manithan Deivamagalam crafted by Dennis Manjunath in which he will be seen alongside actors Selvaraghavan & Kushee Ravi, and Mustafa Mustafa scripted by Praveen Saravanan in which he has costarred with actresses Aishwarya Dutta, Maheshwari Chanakyan, & Monica Chinnakotla. The Vithaikkaran actor is concurrently shooting for several ventures in Soorpanagai helmed by Caarthick Raju in which he will be sharing screen space with actresses Regena Cassandra & Akshara Gowda, Theemai Dhaan Vellum filmed by Santhosh, and Vetri Kondaan directed by Veludoss in which he will be teaming up with actors Vimal & Misha Narang.
On the other hand, actress Sharanya R Nair is presently engaged in her next Malayalam flick Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil scripted by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval in which she will be featuring alongside actors Kunchacko Boban, Sajin Gopu, and Chidambaram.
