Actor Vishnu Vishal lastly entertained audiences in the action thriller movie Aaryan which hit the screens under the direction of newbie director K Praveen with actress Shraddha Srinath as female lead. The FIR actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming drama Gatta Kusthi 2. Director Chella Ayyavu, who was in director’s cockpit for the first installment, has penned and helmed the second part as well.
Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has reprised her character named Keerthi from the first part. Gatta Kusthi 2 was shot in multiple locations across Chennai, Ambasamudram, Pollachi, and Palakkad. The shoot for the venture was wrapped earlier this year. Now we have news that the entertainer is slated to hit theaters on 3rd of July. The production house themselves has announced the news on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the production team of Vels Film International dropped a small behind the shoot clip captured during the first look poster shoot of Gatta Kusthi 2 and captioned it, “One couple. 30 seconds behind the shoot clip has actor Vishnu Vishal carrying a number of colorful empty water pots, and tries to hold a pose. Then comes actress Aishwarya Lekshmi toiling to pose as if she is carrying actor Vishnu Vishal on her shoulders. But the actor is seen lying on a bench. Gatta Kusthi which released without much fanfare went on to be a runaway hit. Hence, there are massive expectations on the second installment.
Apart from Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the star cast of Gatta Kusthi 2 also has actors Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth, Gajaraj, Karunakaran, Deepthie Orintelu, and Karunas playing various supporting roles. Music director Sean Roldan has been contracted to handle musical gears for the drama. Cinematographer K M Bhaskaran has overseen the cinematography division of the flick.
Editor Barath Vikraman has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the film. Art director Jayachandran has erected sets for the drama. Action master Murugan has engineered action blocks for the project. Gatta Kusthi 2 is produced by actor Vishnu Vishal himself under his home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz along with Ishari K Ganesh & Kushmitha Ganesh for the banner house Vels Film International.
On the professional front, actor Vishnu Vishal is eagerly anticipating his next release Irandu Vaanam directed by Ram Kumar in which he has romanced actress Mamitha Baiju. The Maaveeran Kittu star is now engaged in his future venture Ratsasan 2 scripted by Ram Kumar, and a couple of untitled projects under the direction of Gokul & Sathish Selvakumar. Apart from these movies, the Indru Netru Naalai actor has two of his long-delayed films Mohan Das filmed by Murali Karthick in which he has partnered with actors Aishwarya Rajesh & Indrajith Sukumaran, and Idam Porul Yaeval helmed by Seenu Ramasamy in which he has collaborated with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Aishwarya Rajesh in the shelve awaiting release.
On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will soon have a release in the digital space via Love scripted by Balaji Mohan in which she has romanced actor Arjun Das. The actress in now working on her next Malayalam movie Gangster Of Mundanmala directed by Ronnie Manuel Joseph in which she will be joining forces with actor Nivin Pauly, Aasha crafted by Safar Sanal in which she will be working with actor Joju George, Bismi Special directed by Rajesh Ravi in which she will be seen alongside actor Nivin Pauly, and a Telugu flick Sambarla Yeti Gattu scripted by K P Rohith in which she will be associating with actor Sai Dharam Tej.
