Actor Vishnu Vishal had his last outing in the action thriller flick Aaryan helmed by debutant K Praveen with actress Shraddha Srinath in the female lead role. The Maaveeran Kittu actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming romantic fantasy drama Irandu Vaanam. Story teller Ram Kumar, who has previously worked with actor Vishnu Vishal in Mundasupatti and Ratsasan, has written and directed the entertainer.
Actress Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame will be seen in the female lead role in the film. The entertainer was extensively shot in and around the neighborhoods of Kodaikanal. The shoot was completed in a short span of 150 days. The production house is eyeing to bring the film to theaters this summer. Earlier, they had released the first look poster of the venture on social media. They have now released the first single from the album.
Taking to their official X account, team of Sathya Jyothi Films dropped a couple of special posters along with a link to the first single ‘Vellichudare’ from Irandu Vaanam and wrote, “A melody that tugs at your heart strings Vellichudare – First single from Irandu Vaanam streaming now. Singer Kapil Kapilan has lent his voice for the song. Lyricist Madrashe has penned lyrics for the track. The number is mixed by Kiran Lal and mastered by Shadab Rayeen. Dance master Leelavathi has choreographed dance moves for the song. Music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas has handled musical instruments for the entertainer.
The first look poster of the project which got released earlier had actor Vishnu Vishal seated on a cloud and opposite to it was an inverted portrait of actress Mamitha Baiju. Director Ram Kumar is set to return to Tamil cinema nearly eight years after the runaway success of Ratsasan in 2018.
The production team has not yet divulged the list of artists that round out the cast. Cinematographer Dinesh K Babu has overseen the cinematography department of the flick. Editor San Lokesh has been hired to work on the editing division of the movie.
Art director A Gopi Anand has fashioned the background for the film. Stunt master Vicky has engineered action moves for the entertainer. Irandu Vaanam is backed by Sendhil Thyagarajan, T G Thyagarajan, and Arjun Thyagarajan under the production label Sathya Jyothi Films.
On the work side, actor Vishnu Vishal is now busy shooting for his next project Gatta Kusthi 2 directed by Chella Ayyavu in which he will be reuniting with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ratsasan 2 scripted by Ram Kumar, and a few untitled films under the directorial of directors Chella Ayyavu of Gatta Kusthi fame, Gokul, & Sathish Selvakumar. Apart from these ventures, the Lal Salaam actor has his long-delayed drama Mohan Das helmed by Murali Karthick in which he has costarred with actors Aishwarya Rajesh and Indrajith Sukumaran in the box waiting to see the light of day.
On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju will soon have back-to-back releases in Vishwanath & Sons filmed by Venky Atluri in which she will be seen alongside actor Suriya, and Jana Nayagan directed by H Vinoth in which she has joined forces with actors Vijay, Pooja Hegde, & Gautham Vasudev Menon. The Rebel actress is now working on a couple of her Malayalam ventures Bethlehem Kudumba Unit crafted by Girish A D in which she will be romancing actor Nivin Pauly, and an untitled flick under the direction of Dinoy Poulose in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Sangeeth Prathap.
