Actor Vishal had his last outing in the action-comedy flick Madha Gaja Raja scripted by Sundar C with actresses Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as female leads. Vishal – Sundar C duo is once again teaming up for their next venture christened Purushan. Writer Venkatt Ragavan has written dialogues and shaped the flow of the film.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been paired with the actor in the film. Purushan marks their third collaboration after Kaththi Sandai and Action. Actor Yogi Babu will be seen in the role of actor Vishal’s sidekick. The production house has now shared the title promo of the entertainer on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Vishal himself launched the title promo of Purushan and wrote, “Well well well . . . Kushbu Purushan da wishing my darling brother a very very happy entertaining and fun filled birthday of my favorite director Sundar C, I am supa happy to kickstart my next film Vishal 36 titled as Purushan with him for the 4th time after the grand success of Madha Gaja Raja! The five minutes odd title promo of Purushan opens to actor Yogi Babu as a serial actor mouthing, “Sure, he might pass for a good husband.” Actress Tamannaah Bhatia who is watching it tells her husband Vishal, “You are blocking my view! He is saying something important.” Yogi Babu continues, “But he must be husband of the year. I hope you understand your mother-in-law.” He then visits Tamannaah Bhatia’s house in person.
A surprised Tamannaah Bhatia tells him, “Sir, what a surprise!” He responds, “It was getting cloudy. So, I brought your clothes in before the rain.” She then berates her husband, “See that? Even a hero like him worries about our clothes getting wet! Did you ever think to do it?” Actor Yogi Babu chimes in, “Come on, cut him some slack.” Actress Tamannaah Bhatia informs him, “I was just watching your show. You nailed the emotion! Can I hear it from you in person?”
When he repeats the dialogue, actor Vishal gives him a stern look. He quickly clarifies, “It is not personal.” She then instructs him, “Dear, stop standing there and make him some tea.” Actor Yogi Babu adds, “I would like some jaggery in it, please.” He gets hiccups and goes to the kitchen to have water. He is perplexed to witness Vishal who behaved in a docile manner thrashing a few intruders without any noise.
The casting unit is currently zeroing in on the rest of the artists that will round out the cast. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon. Music composer Hiphop Tamizha has been hired to score music for the entertainer. This is his third association with actor Vishal and Sundar C following their successful outing in Aambala and Action.
Cinematographer Gopi Amarnath has been roped in to handle camera gears for the movie. Editor Roger has been brought on board to bring coherence to the project. The entertainer is produced by A C S Arun Kumar under the production company Benzz Media. Khushbu Sundar will be presenting the drama under the banner house Avni Cinemax.
On the work front, actor Vishal will soon have his next release in Magudam which is crafted and headlined by him with actresses Anjali and Dushara Vijayan as female leads, and Thupparivaalan 2 also helmed and headlined by him with actor Prasanna in supporting role.
On the other hand, actress Tamannaah Bhatia is busy shooting for her next Hindi entertainer Ranger crafted by Jagan Shakti in which she will be costarring with actors Ajay Devgn & Sanjay Dutt, Vvan – Force Of The Forrest helmed by Arunabh Kumar & Deepak Kumar Mishra in which she will be seen alongside actors Sidharth Malhotra & Shweta Tiwari, and O’ Romeo filmed by Vishal Bhardwaj in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, & Avinash Tiwary.
