Actor Ajay Dhishan made his debut in Tamil cinema this year via a supporting role in his uncle Vijay Antony’s Maargan directed by Leo John Paul. He is set to turn lead hero in his upcoming Tamil Telugu bilingual romantic film titled Pookie. The Telugu version is christened Bookie. Cinematographer Ganesh Chandra will be making his debut as a film maker with the entertainer. Writer Puthiya Parithi has penned the story, dialogues, and shaped the flow of the drama.
Actress R K Dhanusha will set foot in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the project. Veteran actor Pandiarajan has essayed a pivotal role in the entertainer. The production house has already announced that the venture will hit theaters worldwide on 13th of February next year. They have now launched the first single from the drama on social media.
Taking to their official X profile, the production team of Vijay Antony Film Corporation shared a small clip along with a link to the first single ‘Love Advice’ from Pookie and captioned it, “OG Vijay Antony is back with a golden Love Advice. Love Advice Song from Pookie is out now. OG Vijay Antony, Ganesh Chandra, Ajay Dhishan, R K Dhanusha. Pookie In Cinemas FEB 13.” Here is the post made by the production unit.
Music composer Vijay Antony has written lyrics, composed music, and lent his voice for the number. The song is mixed and mastered by A M Rahmathulla. Dance master Viji Sathish has choreographed dance moves for the track.
The nearly five minutes lyrical video of Love Advice opens to actor Vijay Antony offering prayers in a temple, “I should settle all my loans with this film.” He then asks Ajay Dhishan, “Can we prostrate and get the blessing of god?” He responds, “Shirt will get untidy.” He turns to R K Dhanusha and she says, “Makeup will wear off sir.”
He then turns to Ajay Dhishan and asks, “At least will you hold the salver?” He does not respond. Vijay Antony mutters, “Does the producer have any respect? I do not need anyone’s help.” He prostrates and prays, “God I have put all my trust on you. Please make this film a hit.” A priest comes out, Vijay Antony tells him, “I am making a movie. This is Ajay Dhishan and Dhanusha. Hero heroine of the flick.”
The priest then asks them for their stars to offer pooja, Ajay Dhishan says, “Pookie” and Dhanusha says, “Break up.” The baffled priest offers prayers in Sanskrit. Vijay Antony asks him, “What prayer did you say? I could not understand.” The priest retorts, “You use incomprehensible words and make music. Are we complaining?” He replies, “To absolve that sin, I have used proper Tamil language in this album.”
Apart from Ajay Dhishan, R K Dhanusha, and Pandiarajan, the casting unit of the flick also has Telugu actor Sunil, Vivek Prasanna, Lakshmi Manchu, Radha, Aaditya Kathir, Indumathi Manigandan, Mridhula, Black Pandi, Anjali, Bigg Boss Sathya, Aishwarya Ragupathi, M. J. Shriram, Ashwin Ram, Shaju, Shiyara Sharmi, Manda Fack, Thanga Prakash, Rajamani Paati, Varun, Priyanka, Arun, and Sathya portray various supporting roles.

Art director Pragatheeswaran Paneerselvam has erected sets for the project. Stunt master Prabhu Jacky has designed action moves for the movie. The project is bankrolled by Vijay Antony himself along with his wife Fatima Vijay Antony under the production banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
