Tamil Creators working in Bollywood is not a new norm. We have seen a handful of directors directing Bollywood superstars and achieved massive success there. A recent example is Atlee who has given industry blockbusters in the name of “Jawaan”. The latest entrant to the list is Vishnuvardhan who is currently directing Salman Khan’s “Bull”. Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan has always expressed his interest in working with South Indian Directors. Previously he collaborated with Prabhu Deva for “Wanted” and “Radhe”. Besides Vishnuvardhan he is all set to team up with AR Murugadoss for his next.
AR Murugadoss is also not new to Bollywood as he has given blockbusters like “Ghajini”, “Holiday” and “Akira” in the past. He is busy directing Siva Karthikeyan for an untitled project. Salman has announced this officially on his social media handles. Ace Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiawala is bankrolling the project and this project is all set to kick off once Director AR Murugadoss completes his current commitment. It’s going to be the fourth outing for the Actor-producer duo after “Judwaa”, “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi”, and “Kick”.
Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3 which is a box-office hit. He is currently shooting for “Bull” Directed by Vishnuvardhan and bankrolled by Karn Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. The story is based on the terror attacks that happened in Maldives in 1988. As director Atlee has become a mainstay in Bollywood and AR Muradoss is again making a comeback it’s a proud moment for Tamil cinema as its directors are making a mark nationwide.
