As we all know Thalapathy Vijay is all set to enter into politics and is eyeing for a massive success in the 2026 Assembly Elections. He also announced that he is going to stop acting in movies after ongoing GOAT aka “Greatest Of All Time” and an unplanned movie. He is currently busy shooting for GOAT. The team has recently filmed the climax portions at Thiruvananthapuram where he met lots of Malayalam fans. The team is all set for the wrap-up as the final schedule of the shooting is all set to commence this week. Also, post-production is going on parallelly.
If everything goes as per the schedule, we can expect the movie to be released by August this year. Two songs and a few fight sequences coupled with patchwork are planned in the final schedule. Director Venkat Prabhu has released a behind-the-scenes photo with actor Vijay. With this Venkat Prabhu is preparing the Vijay fans for the first look. As per the latest reports the first look poster will be released soon after the election and the movie team are also planning for the first single in the next couple of weeks. Industry pundits predict that the movie is gearing up for an August 23 release.
However, the official announcement from the makers is awaited. Once the shooting is done the movie team is all set to fly to Russia and USA for post-production. Besides Thalapathy Vijay the movie has Meenakshi Choudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Sneha and Laila doing pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is handling the music work.
