2023 has been a year of unfortunate losses for the Kollywood industry as lots of acclaimed actors and technicians have passed away. It seems 2024 is also expected to continue the same route. Yesterday Kollywood industry suffered yet another loss as comedy actor Lakshmi Narayan Seshu popularly known as Lollu Sabha Seshu breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai. He was 60 and has been undergoing treatment since March 15 after suffering from a massive heart attack. However, he failed to recover and left the world by 4 PM yesterday.

Seshu faced a major financial crisis for treatment and has requested financial assistance from friends and fans. A lot of his friends, family members and fans came forward to help him and prayed for his speedy recovery. But all the help and prayers went in vain as he couldn’t recover from the massive heart attack. His mortal remains will be kept in his home till noon today at his residence and the funeral is expected to take place this noon. Fellow comedy actor Redin Kingsley who was his close friend first broke the news via his Social Media Handle Instagram.
Seshu Made his silver screen debut with Dhanush’s Thulluvatho Ilamai and made his appearance in 30-odd movies. He rose to fame along with Santhanam through the comedy show Lollu Sabha. Since then, both have been travelling together and he regularly made his appearance in Santhanam Movies. His last brief appearance was also in Santhanam’s Vadukkupatti Ramasamy in which he delivered an enjoyable role.
