Actor Vishnu Vishal last graced the silver screens in the action thriller drama Aaryan helmed by debutant K Praveen with actress Shraddha Srinath in the female lead role. The Kaadan actor will soon be seen on screens in the upcoming entertainer Gatta Kusthi 2. Director Chella Ayyavu, who worked with the actor in the first part, has inked and crafted the second installment as well.
Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has portrayed the role of actor Vishnu Vishal’s wife in the drama. The shoot for the film took place across several parts of Chennai, Ambasamudram, Pollachi, and Palakkad. Gatta Kusthi 2 is poised to release in theaters on 3rd of July. The production house had recently launched the first look poster of the entertainer on social media. They have now released the teaser of the movie.
Taking to their official X profile, the team of Vels Film International shared a special poster along with a link to the teaser of Gatta Kusthi 2 and worded, “Veera and Keerthi are back. One minute teaser of Gatta Kusthi 2 opens to actor Vishnu Vishal warning Aishwarya Lekshmi, “Some husbands resort to violence even when there is no reason for it. But I have a belief that I will only raise my hand if there is a reason. Do not make me use my hands.” Funnily, the shot cuts to a montage bit of him washing clothes, hanging them to dry, and cleaning the house.
The shot cuts to a man telling Vishnu Vishal, “As it is, being a husband to a woman is not easy. I cannot even begin to imagine if it is a sportswoman, I wonder how you manage.” Then actor Karunakaran says, “If we want these problems to end, we need to persuade him to start working.” Subsequently, actor Vishnu Vishal tells Karunakaran, “Only if I take care of our child and family, Keerthy can focus on her game. I want her to win and qualify for the national level. To achieve it, not just my family, I will take care of your family, too.”
In a short scene, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi playfully rebukes Vishnu Vishal, “The school called you to report that our daughter beat up two people. But you went there and beat up four people.” Then we have a comedy scene where actor Munishkanth states to a child, “No stone becomes a statue without enduring the craft of the chisel.” She retorts, “It is obvious the chisel never touched you.”
The ensemble cast of Gatta Kusthi 2 also comprises actors Ramya Krishnan, Kaali Venkat, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, Karunakaran, Deepthie Orintelu, Gajaraj, and Karunas. Music director Sean Roldan has composed music for the venture. Cinematographer K M Bhaskaran has been behind the lens for the entertainer. The editing division of the drama has been handed over to editor Barath Vikraman.
Art director Jayachandran has fashioned sets for the flick. Action director Murugan has designed action moves for the film. Gatta Kusthi 2 is funded by actor Vishnu Vishal himself under the production company Vishnu Vishal Studioz in association with Ishari K Ganesh & Kushmitha Ganesh for the production house Vels Film International.
On the work front, actor Vishnu Vishal is getting ready for his next release Irandu Vaanam helmed by Ram Kumar in which he has starred with actress Mamitha Baiju. The Kathanayagan actor is now working on his next film Ratsasan 2 directed by Ram Kumar, and a couple of untitled movies under the direction of Gokul & Sathish Selvakumar. Besides these ventures, the Jeeva actor has couple of his long-delayed entertainers Mohan Das helmed by Murali Karthick in which he has featured alongside actress Aishwarya Rajesh, and Idam Porul Yaeval directed by Seenu Ramasamy in which he has costarred with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Aishwarya Rajesh in the trunk waiting for release.
On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is anticipating her next release in the digital space via Love directed by Balaji Mohan in which she has partnered with actor Arjun Das. The actress in now engaged in her next Malayalam film Aasha helmed by Safar Sanal in which she will be associating with actor Joju George, Gangster Of Mundanmala directed by Ronnie Manuel Joseph in which she will be performing alongside actor Nivin Pauly, Bismi Special crafted by Rajesh Ravi in which she will be teaming up with actor Nivin Pauly, and a Telugu venture Sambarla Yeti Gattu filmed by K P Rohith in which she will be collaborating with actor Sai Dharam Tej.
