Actor Sundeep Kishan had his last outing in Tollywood in the romantic comedy flick Mazaka directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina with actresses Ritu Varma and Anshu Ambani in the female lead roles. The Captain Miller actor is now getting ready for the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller titled Sigma. Actor Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, who holds a degree from Toronto Film school, has written and directed the entertainer.
Actress Faria Abdullah will set foot in Tamil cinema with her female lead part in the drama. Dance master and actor Raju Sundaram will be seen in a pivotal part in the venture. Sigma was shot in multiple locations in Chennai, Salem, Talakona, and Thailand. The shoot for the film was wrapped recently. The production house has now released the teaser of the movie on social media.
Taking to his official X account, actor Sundeep Kishan shared a special poster along with links to Tamil & Telugu version teaser of Sigma and worded, “And a Glimpse into you Dear Jason Sanjay‘s world of SIGMA Teaser is out now! One minute teaser of Sigma opens with an aerial shot of actor Sundeep Kishan gazing at sea from a yacht to a voiceover, “The value of land, water, air . . . mainly money goes up every day. But who we are, or our relationships hold no value. Why?”
Then we have montage shots of important characters in the entertainer. In a scene actor Sundeep Kishan asks Sampath Raj, “Reddy, are you good?” He sarcastically replies with yes. We are also presented with a few shots of high-octane action blocks in the drama.
Earlier talking to a leading media house director Jason Sanjay said, “Sigma is an out and out action project. It follows an ambitious man in pursuit of his goals who is misunderstood by society. I have avoided a grim tone to the flow, and have rather adapted a mix of action, thrill, and comedy. I am positive the audience will have a new cinematic experience watching the movie.”
Apart from Sundeep Kishan, Faria Abdullah, and Raju Sundaram, the star cast of the flick also has actors Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, and Kiran Konda playing various supporting characters. Music director Thaman S has been trusted with the musical division of the venture. Lyricists Vivek and Super Subbu have penned lyrics for songs.
Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has taken care of the cinematography department of the drama. Editor Praveen K L has been brought on board to bring coherence to the flick. Art director Benjamin M has erected sets for the movie. Stunt masters Venkat and Stunt Silva have worked in tandem to choreograph action moves for the entertainer. The film is funded by Allirajah Subaskaran under the production company Lyca Productions.
On the professional front, actor Sundeep Kishan will soon have a release in the digital space via Super Subbu helmed by director Mallik Ram in which he has shared screen space with actresses Mithila Palkar and Manasa Chowdary. The Michael star is currently busy shooting for his next Tamil venture Maayaone scripted by C V Kumar in which he will be costarring with actress Akansha Rajan Kapoor, and for a Telugu project Vibe crafted by story teller RSJ Swaroop in which he will be performing alongside actress Shruti Sharma.
