Actor Sasikumar last graced the silver screens earlier this year in the black comedy drama Tourist Family crafted by debutant story teller Abishan Jeevinth with veteran actress Simran in the female lead role. The Kutti Puli actor is now gearing up for the release of his next film titled My Lord. Director Raju Murugan, who previously delivered impressive entertainers like Joker and Cuckoo, has inked and directed the flick.
Arunmozhi Pandian has served as the co-director. Kannada actress Chaithra J Achar of 3 BHK fame has essayed the female lead role in the project. The production house had released the first single from the flick last month on social media. They have now dropped the second track from the album.

Singers V M Mahalingam and Muthu Sirpi have lent their voice for the song. Lyricist Yugabarathi has penned lyrics for the track. The song is mixed and mastered by Aswin George. Dance master Sherif has choreographed dance moves for the number. Music composer Sean Roldan has handled musical gears for the entertainer. Already a single ‘Esa Kaaththa’ in the lyrics of Yugabharathi sung by Sathyaprakash and Chinmayi is out from the album.
My Lord is touted to be a rural drama set at the backdrop of Kovilpatti. Apart from Sasikumar and Chaithra J Achar, the star cast of My Lord also has actors Guru Somasundaram, Jaya Prakash, Asha Sharath, Gopi Nainar, and Vasumithra in various supporting roles. Cinematographer Nirav Shah has overseen the cinematography division of the flick.
Editor Sathyaraj Natrajan has been brought on board to chop and patch the drama. Art director Muni Palraj has erected sets for the venture. Action director C Prabhu has fashioned action blocks for the movie. My Lord is backed by Ambeth Kumar and Jayanthi Ambeth Kumar in affiliation with Sanjay Shanmugam under the production banner Olympia Movies.
On the work front, actor Sasikumar will soon have successive releases in Pagaivanuku Arulvai filmed by Anees in which he has collaborated with actresses Vani Bhojan & Bindhu Madhavi, Naa Naa crafted by director N V Nirmal in which he will be seen alongside actor Sarathkumar, and Evidence directed by Ranjith Manikandan. The Kaari actor is presently occupied on his next project Paramaguru scripted by Jiyen Krishnakumar, a couple of untitled projects helmed by M Guru in which he will be costarring with actors Bharath, Malavika, Megha Shetty, & Sathyaraj, a flick under the direction of Dharani Rajendran in which he will be partnering with actress Sshivada, and a venture under the direction of Velraj.
On the other hand, actress Chaithra J Achar is expecting the release of her next Kannada movie Strawberry directed by Arjun Lewis in which she has associated with actresses Sruthi Hariharan & Dheekshith Shetty. The actress is busy shooting for her next Kannada flick Uttarakaanda helmed by story teller Rohit Padaki in which she will be costarring with actors Shiva Rajkumar, Dhananjaya, & Bhavana Menon, and Eddelu Manjunatha 2 scripted by Guruprasad in which she will be featuring alongside actors Rachitha Mahalakshmi & Sharath Lohitashwa.
