Actor Vijay Sethupathi had his last outing in the likes of the family drama Maamanithan which was also helmed by Seenu Ramasamy. While actor Vishnu Vishal was last seen on screens in the crime thriller FIR which hit the theaters under the direction of story teller Manu Anand with actress Manjima Mohan and Reba Monica John. Now, both the actors will be seen together on screens in the upcoming family drama Idam Porul Yaeval. Director Seenu Ramasamy has directed the flick. The drama went on floors back in the year 2012 right after the release of director Seenu Ramasamy’s Neerparavai. But due to various reasons the project got pushed repeatedly and consumed nearly a decade. But now finally we have good news that all issues surrounding the movie have been sorted out, and the entertainer will soon be hitting the theaters.
Director Seenu Ramasamy himself has shared the news on social media. Taking to his official twitter handle, the Thenmerku Paruvakaatru director dropped a couple of pictures of himself with director and producer N. Lingusamy and wrote, “இலக்கிய மனம், இளகிய குணம், அன்புநிறை இயக்குனர் லிங்குசாமி அவர்களின் அன்பு பேரன்பு. Talking to a leading media house about the release, director Seenu Ramasamy has stated that the legal issues that put the entertainer in the court have been settled. The production house is yet to decide whether to opt for a theatrical release or to launch it in the OTT space. An official release date of the drama is expected to be made soon. Actor Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the character named Paandi while actor Vishnu Vishal plays Aasaithambi.
Apart from actors Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal, the film has actresses Aishwarya Rajesh, and Nandita Swetha playing the female lead roles. The flick has an ensemble cast that includes actors Vadivukkarasi, Bala Saravanan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruldoss, Ilavarasu, Theepetti Ganesan, and Florent Pereira in various other supporting roles. The music for the entertainer is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cinematography department of the drama has been handled by cinematographer Rahul Dharuman. Editor Kasi Viswanathan has edited the drama. The project is bankrolled by N. Lingusamy and N. Subash Chandra Bose under the production house Thirupathi Brothers.
On the work front, actor Vijay Sethupathi who was last seen on screens in Maamanithan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming Hindi project christened Mumbaikar under the directorial of story teller Santhosh Sivan, for Gandhi Talks directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and Merry Christmas. Apart from these ventures, the actor has Viduthalai directed by auteur Vetrimaaran in which he has shared the screen space with actor Soori, and his Hindi web series Farzi helmed by director Krishna D. K in the post production shaping up for release.
On the other hand, actor Vishnu Vishal whose last outing was the action thriller FIR is getting ready for the release of his next venture titled Mohan Das directed by storyteller Murali Karthick in which he will be seen alongside actress Aishwarya Rajesh. The Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran actor will soon start to shoot for the sequel of his superhit project Ratsasan which is set to be directed by filmmaker Ram Kumar. Besides these ventures, the actor has his long-delayed project Veera Dheera Sooran scripted by director Shankar Dayal in the shelves awaiting release.
