Keerthy Suresh Bio

Keerthy Suresh began appearing on screen as a child actress, with early credits including Pilots, Achaneyanenikkishtam and Kuberan. After studying fashion design, she returned to acting as an adult and played the dual role of Geetha and Anjali in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. Ring Master followed in 2014, before she moved into Tamil cinema with Idhu Enna Maayam and RajiniMurugan.

Her work expanded across Tamil and Telugu films during the following years. She played Sailaja in Nenu Sailaja, Dr. Kavya in Remo, Malarvizhi in Bairavaa and Keerthi in Nenu Local. In 2018, she portrayed actress Savitri in the biographical drama Mahanati. The performance brought her the National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Her other releases that year included Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Agnyaathavaasi, Saamy², Sarkar, Sandakozhi 2 and Seemaraja.

Her later roles include Rythm in Penguin, Manasa Samyuktha in Miss India, Thanga Meenakshi in Annaatthe and Ponni in Saani Kaayidham. She appeared as Sakhi Pamar in Good Luck Sakhi, Kalaavathi in Sarkaru Vaari Paata and lawyer Madhavi Mohan in Vaashi. In 2023, she played Vennala in Dasara, a role that earned her another Filmfare Best Actress award, followed by Leela in Maamannan and Maha in Bhola Shankar. Her 2024 work included Inspector K. Nandhini in Siren, Kayalvizhi in Raghu Thatha and Meera Verma in Baby John. She also voiced Bujji in Kalki 2898-AD and the television series Bujji & Bhairava.
