Two and a half minutes of the trailer of Tourist Family opens to actor Sasikumar, who is about to desert his nation with his family, telling his kid, “Mulli, do you remember everything I taught you? If we are stopped by the police, what would you say to them?” The shot cuts to the family being stopped by a cop in the shores of India, “Stay right where you are!” The kid tells him, “We lost our way, sir.” To which he sarcastically responds, “Lost your way, you say.” The kid looks at his family members and asks them to follow his lead, “Everyone, follow my lead. Tell them, ‘We wandered off to India while fishing in Sri Lanka.’” Sasikumar intervenes, “If you keep blabbing like a fool they will shoot us all.” Subsequently we witness actor Yogi Babu helping the family settle and instructing them, “Das, you all will be living in this house. Make sure to learn the local dialect as soon as possible. If you cannot, then keep your mouths shut!” The second half of the trailer turns serious with cops trying to locate the family.
