Actor Arulnithi has impressed the Tamil audience with his unique choice of flicks. The Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum actor had his last outing in the likes of the crime drama Thiruvin Kural which hit the screens under the directorial of Harish Prabhu with actress Aathmika as the female lead. The movie did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Thus, it had a bad collection at the box office. The actor has now moved on, and is getting ready for the release of his next project christened Kazhuvethi Moorkkan. Director Sy Gowtham Raj of Raatchasi fame has written and directed the entertainer. The venture which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time ago, was shot in and around the surroundings of Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, and Virudhunagar. Now, the movie is done and dusted ready to hit the screens on 26th of May.
The production unit had released the teaser of the film last month. The production team has now unveiled the trailer of the movie on social media. Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu himself has dropped the trailer. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor dropped a link to the trailer of Kazhuvethi Moorkkan and wrote, “Here it is Kazhuvethi Moorkkan trailer.” Here is the tweet made by the actor.

Two minute trailer opens to the voiceover of actor Arulnithi, “You are in the belief that you are above someone’s head, but they are saying you are under someone’s leg. People who think all this should happen, keep winning.” The scene then cuts to a politician saying, “Nobody looks whether a person is good or bad while they vote, they just look whether the person belongs to their caste. Caste is like God to us. It feeds many of us without having to work.” Following which we get a stretch of romantic sequences with a song. Then we have a shot in a police station where a character says, “Don’t we know how you investigate? Even if people from the working class did not commit any crime, you make them sit on the floors and beat them up. Even if a minister’s relative is a murderer, you make him sit on a chair, and treat him with respect.” We are then presented with a shot where a character says, “Whether people talk about good or bad, they should only talk about us.” The trailer ends with the dialogue, “We should stand by the side of one who is getting hit. We should safeguard him from getting hit.” The trailer has enjoyed good reception among the audience, and has set high expectations on the entertainer.
Apart from actor Arulnithi, Kazhuvethi Moorkkan has actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame depicting the female lead role. The casting division of the entertainer has actors Santhosh Prathap, Saya Devi, Munishkanth, Sarathlokith Sava, Raja Simman, and Yaar Kannan portraying various other supporting roles. Music director D. Imman has scored music for the flick. Cinematographer Sridhar has taken care of the cinematography department of the drama. Editor Nagooran has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Art director Mahendra has designed the background for the film. Stuntman Ganesh has choreographed action moves for the venture. The drama is produced by S. Ambeth Kumar for the banner label Olympia Movies.
On the work front, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu who was last seen on screens in Thiruvin Kural is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film DeMonte Colony 2 under the direction of R. Ajay Gnanamuthu in which he will be co starring with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar.
