Actor Vijay was last seen on screens in the action thriller GOAT – The Greatest Of All Time scripted by Venkat Prabhu with actress Meenakshi Chaudhary as female lead. The Master actor is eagerly awaiting the final release of his career in Jana Nayagan. Story teller H Vinoth, who previously directed actor Ajith Kumar in Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu has written and directed the flick.
Actress Pooja Hegde, who worked with actor Vijay in Beast, has once again been cast as the female lead in the entertainer. Bollywood star Bobby Deol of Animal fame has played the antagonist. The shoot for Jana Nayagan took place across many zones in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Sivagangai, and Erode. The production team has already released two singles from the album. They have now released the third single on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the production team of KVN Productions dropped a special poster along with a link to the third single ‘Chella Magale’ from Jana Nayagan and captioned it, “Close your eyes. . . Actor Vijay himself has lent his voice for the number. The lyrics of the track is written by lyricist Vivek. The song is mixed by Vinay Sridhar & M Srinivasan, and mastered by Sai Shravanam. Dance master Sudhan has fashioned dance moves for the track. Music director Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for the movie.
Jana Nayagan marks the fifth association of Anirudh Ravichander and actor Vijay after their extraordinary hits in Kaththi, Master, Beast, and Leo. Two songs ‘Thalapathy Kacheri’ written by Arivu crooned by Vijay, Anirudh Ravichander, & Arivu, and ‘Oru Pere Varalaaru’ in the lyrics of Vivek sung by Vishal M Mishra & Anirudh Ravichander is already out from the film.
A one-minute odd glimpse clip which was unveiled earlier had a political punch, ‘A true leader rises not for power, but for the people. Let us rise together.’ Jana Nayagan is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide as a festive release for Pongal, 9th of January in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Ensemble cast of Jana Nayagan also comprises Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame, Narain, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Baba Bhaskar, Reba Monica John, Teejay Arunasalam, Monisha Blessy, Nizhalgal Ravi, Srinath, Irfan Zaini, and Arun Kumar Rajan. Cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan has been behind the lens for the entertainer.
Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to take care of the editing division of the venture. Art director Selva Kumar has designed the background for the film. Action master Anl Arasu has fashioned action blocks for the flick. Jana Nayagan is produced by Venkat K Narayana in affiliation with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith N K under the production banner KVN Productions.
On the professional side, actress Pooja Hegde is now busy with her next Tamil drama Kanchana 4 scripted and headlined by Raghava Lawrence with actress Nora Fatehi as second female lead, an untitled Telugu project directed by Ravi Nelakuditi in which she will be featuring alongside actor Dulquer Salmaam, and a Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai directed by David Dhawan in which she will be teaming up with actors Varun Dhawan & Mrunal Thakur.
On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju is currently engaged on her next movie tentatively titled Suriya 46 helmed by Venky Atluri in which she will be joining forces with actor Suriya, an entertainer tentatively christened D 54 filmed by director Vignesh Raja in which she will be seen alongside actor Dhanush, and Irandu Vaanam crafted by Ram Kumar in which she will be collaborating with actor Vishnu Vishal.
