Priyanka Mohan’s Made In Korea Teaser: A Journey Of Self Discovery In A Faraway Shore!

Actress Priyanka Mohan had her last outing in Telugu via the period gangster action film They Call Him OG which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Sujeeth with actors Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The Captain Miller actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming adventure drama Made In Korea. Story teller R A Karthik, who previously crafted Nitham Oru Vaanam, has penned and helmed the movie. 

Excluding few portions in India, the film has been predominantly shot in and around various neighborhoods of Seoul, South Korea. The entertainer will directly premiere on Netflix OTT platform in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. An official date for the premiere is expected to be announced soon. Meanwhile, the makers have now released the teaser of the film on social media. 

Taking to their official X profile, the team of Netflix India unveiled the teaser of Made In Korea and wrote, “Indha kadhai Korea la Shenba yaara meet panra-nradha pathi illa, it’s about who Shenba becomes. Watch Made In Korea on Netflix, coming soon in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Made In Korea, Made In Korea On Netflix, Next On Netflix India.” Here is the post made by the OTT platform. 

One minute of the odd teaser of Made In Korea starts with a bank manager asking Priyanka Mohan, “You are willing to take such a big loan to visit Korea? What is so special about that place?” To which she asks, “Why did you marry your wife? Many such questions in life cannot be answered, sir. I like it, that is it.” 

Then she explains how her longing to visit Korea took root in her, “This desire of mine started from a school drama, dressed as Shenbavalam. It is the story of a Tamil girl who sailed from Kanyakumari to Korea.” The scene cuts to a woman berating her, “If she goes to Korea, and works there they will kick her out in a day.” Following which her father asks her, “Guess you have already decided.”

Subsequently we see her land in Seoul, while elucidating her situation, “I am in a land I longed to always come to. But today I do not feel happy.” Then we have montage shots of her travelling around the city and getting along with local people. In a scene we witness her telling a Korean guy, “Should I sigh just because you said so?” He responds, “If you sign, you can leave.” She quips, “I will sign. Where? Where?”

Beside Priyanka Mohan, the casting crew of Made In Korea also has actors Rishikanth, Ha Ram, Park Hye-Jin, Kim Rok, Jaehyun Jang, Baek Si-Hoon, and Kim So Ri essaying various supporting parts. Music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab has been roped in to handle musical gears for the entertainer. 

Cinematographer Prasanna S Kumar has been behind the lens for the movie. Editor Anthony has been hired to chop and patch the flick. Made In Korea is produced by Sagar Pentela and Sreenidhi Sagar under the banner house Rise East Entertainment. 

On the work side, actress Priyanka Mohan is presently shooting for her next Tamil entertainer tentatively christened Kavin 09 helmed by director Ken Royson in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Kavin & Sandy Master, a Malayalam drama Athbhutha Dweepu 2 helmed by story teller Vinayan in which she will be seen alongside actors Unni Mukundan & Jagadish, and a Kannada flick 666 Operation Dream Theater scripted by Hemanth M Rao & Aniketh Terdal in which she will be Joining forces with actors Shiva Rajkumar, and Dhananjaya.
