Guru Somasundaram’s Paris Cafe Trailer: A Man Seeks Redemption After A Fatal Mistake!
Actor Guru Somasundaram last graced the silver screens in a supporting role in the political satire drama My lord crafted by Raju Murugan with actors Sasikumar and Chaithra J Achar in the lead roles. The Odu Raja Odu actor is now eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming movie christened Paris Cafe. Debutant storyteller Saraj Seelan has inked and helmed the venture.
Malayalam actress Anumol K Manoharan of Haraa fame has depicted the part of actor Guru Somasundaram’s wife in the film. Paris Cafe was predominantly filmed in parts of Chennai and Pondicherry. An official release date for the movie is expected to be announced soon. The production house has been promoting the movie by dropping a teaser and a single from the film. They have now unveiled the trailer of the entertainer on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the team of Saregama South shared a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Paris Cafe and worded, “A story brewed with love, mystery & unexpected twists . . . The two minute trailer of Paris Cafe begins with a man handing a report over to actor Guru Somasundaram. The scene shifts to him saying, “If you are a good companion, you should console me now. There is a limit for everything. I accepted that I made a mistake.” Subsequently, actress Anumol K Manoharan tells Guru Somasundaram, “Gautham, ours is a love marriage.” To which he responds, “I made a selfish decision, and I am so sorry.”
Following which a woman asks someone, “Is there no risk in marrying based on astrology, horoscope, and caste?” Then we have actress Anumol K Manoharan confronting Guru Somasundaram, “Will you do anything for money and comfort? Gautham, do not apologize to me.” The trailer ends with a note, ‘Even in separation, love continues to breathe. You cannot kill love. Love transcends all.’
The casting team of Paris Cafe also comprises actors Archana Kumar, Sai Vicky, Vijay Vishwa, and Nayana Sai. Music director K Krishnakumar has handled musical gear for the flick. Already a song ‘Azhagazhagai Manam’ in the voice of Kapil Kapilan, Gayathree, & Dr. Oviya Saravana Raj lyrics inked by Vivek Velmurugan, is out from the album. Cinematographer Sathish Babu has overseen the visuals and camera division for the drama.
Editor V J Sabu Joseph has been hired to trim the entertainer. Art director Dhamu MFA has fashioned the background for the movie. Stunt master Sugan has choreographed action blocks in the project. Paris Cafe is bankrolled by Kanmani Ranganathan under the production studio L V Entertainment, in partnership with Vengal M Lingeshwaran for the production label Thunder Media.
On the professional side, actor Guru Somasundaram is staring at consecutive releases in Vettuvam created by Pa Ranjith in which he has associated with actors Arya, Dinesh, & Sobhita Dhulipala, Demonte Colony 3 scripted by Ajay Gnanamuthu in which he has teamed up with actors Arulnithi & Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kaagangal helmed by Anand Annamalai in which he has costarred with actors Yogi Babu & Lijo Mol Jose, and a Telugu drama Dragon filmed by Prashanth Neel in which he has worked with actor N T Rama Rao Jr.
On the other hand, actress Anumol K Manoharan will soon have a release in Malayalam cinema via Udampadi filmed by Suresh Peter Thomas in which she has shared screen space with actors Prakash Bare & Sujith Shanker. The Kaayal actress is now occupied in her next Malayalam project Radio Moscow helmed by Manoj Kana in which she will be seen alongside actors Akhila Bhargavan & Arjun Ashokan, and Whine directed by Saheer Abbas in which she will be performing with actress Angel Shijoy.
