Second Single ‘Ooroda Oththa Don’ From Vijay Sethupathi’s Baththa Is A Catchy, Upbeat Gana Song!
Actor Vijay Sethupathi lastly entertained audiences via the action crime web series Muthu Engira Kaattaan helmed by M Manikandan with Bollywood actor Milind Soman in the lead role. The 96 star will soon have a release in the upcoming period drama christened Baththa. Story teller Balaji Tharaneetharan, who previously directed actor Vijay Sethupathi in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Seethakaathi, has inked and directed the entertainer.
Writer Karan Karki has written the dialogue for the movie. Actress Lijomol Jose of Jai Bhim fame has played the female lead role in the flick. Baththa is poised to release in theaters worldwide on 1st of October. Earlier, the makers had shared a single and a promo for the film. They have now launched the second single from the album on social media.

Music composer Sai Abhyankkar has orchestrated the musical score for the flick. He has also crooned the song along with singers Vangal Pulla Vicky and Thamizh Aadhavan. Lyricist KK Nagar Gana Jeeva has penned lyrics for the number. The track is mixed by Sai Abhyankkar and mastered by Rupendhar Venkatesh. Dance master Raju Sundaram has choreographed dance moves for the song. Already a soundtrack ‘Magale’ crooned by Sai Abhyankkar & Harini lyrics penned by Karthik Netha, is out from the album.
The previously released promo for Baththa showed actor Vijay Sethupathi as a fearsome local gangster, establishing his character through a child’s testimonial and action sequences in which he brutally beats people to a pulp. The casting unit of the flick also has actors Santhy Balachandran, Hari Krishnan, Vishnu Govindhan, Sahasra Sree, Arjun Chidabaram, and Ajay Ghosh. Cinematographer Selva Kumar S K has served as the camera operator for the film. Editor R Kalaivanan has been brought on board to trim the entertainer.
Art director Kannan S has fashioned sets for the venture. Stunt masters Stunt Siva, Kevin Kumar, and U Pruthvi have choreographed action blocks in the movie. The project is backed by Murad Khetani under the banner house Cine1 Studios, in affiliation with Priya Atlee under the production company A For Apple, along with Ajit Andhare and Alok Jain under the production house Star Studio18.
On the work side, actor Vijay Sethupathi will next be seen in a special guest role in Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dilipkumar in which he has appeared alongside actors Rajinikanth & S J Suryah, Train filmed by Mysskin in which he has worked with actress Shruti Haasan, Pisasu 2 also helmed by Mysskin in which he has costarred with actresses Andrea Jeremiah & Poorna, and a Telugu project SlumDog: 33 Temple Road crafted by Puri Jagannadh in which he has performed alongside actress Wamiqa Gabbi. The Sethupathi actor is presently engrossed in his next drama Arasan created by Vetrimaaran in which he will be seen alongside actors Silambarasan & Andrea Jeremiah, Inji Vellam scripted by Mani Ratnam in which he will be romancing actress Sai Pallavi, and Pocket Novel crafted by Thiagarajan Kumararaja in which he will be teaming up with actors Kishore, Raj B Shetty, & Malavika Mohanan.
