First Single ‘Magale’’ From Vijay Sethupathi’s Baththa Is A Poignant Number That Captures A Father Daughter Bond!

Actor Vijay Sethupathi lastly had a release in the digital space via the action crime series Muthu Engira Kaattaan filmed by M Manikandan with Bollywood actor Milind Soman in the lead role. The Super Deluxe actor will soon have his next outing in the period drama titled Baththa. Story teller Balaji Tharaneetharan, who previously worked with actor Vijay Sethupathi in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Seethakaathi, has written and directed the venture. 

Writer Karan Karki has penned dialogues for the drama. Actress Lijomol Jose of Jai Bhim fame will be seen in the female lead role in the movie. The production house has already announced that the movie will be released in theaters worldwide on 1st of October. The makers had recently launched the first look poster of the drama on social media. They have now unveiled the first single from the album. 

Taking to their official X handle, the team of Think Music India unveiled a couple of special posters along with a link to the first single ‘Magale’ from Baththa and wrote, “Mannavan Magale Mandhirach Chimizhe Mangala Vilakke Keladi. Music director Sai Abhyankkar has handled musical gear for the movie. He has also sung the song along with singer Harini. Lyricist Karthik Netha has penned lyrics for the track. The number is mixed by Sai Abhyankkar and mastered by Akash Shravan. 

The production unit is tightlipped about the rest of the actors that would round out the cast. An official list of artists in the movie is expected to be publicized soon. Cinematographer Selva Kumar S K has taken care of the cinematographer department of the flick. Editor R Kalaivanan has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch the entertainer. 

Art director Kannan S has erected sets for the project. Action directors Stunt Siva, U Pruthvi, and Kevin Kumar have choreographed action moves in the film. The venture is backed by Murad Khetani under the banner house Cine1 Studios, in affiliation with Priya Atlee under the production house A For Apple, along with Ajit Andhare and Alok Jain under the production company Star Studio18. 

On the professional front, actor Vijay Sethupathi will soon be seen in a guest role in Jailer 2 crafted by Nelson Dilipkumar in which he has joined forces with actors Rajinikanth & S J Suryah, Train created by Mysskin in which he has starred with actress Shruthi Haasan, Pisasu 2 also directed by Mysskin in which he has worked with actresses Andrea Jeremiah & Poorna, and a Telugu flick SlumDog: 33 Temple Road helmed by Puri Jagannadh in which he has featured alongside actress Wamiqa Gabbi. The DSP actor is presently engaged in his next film Arasan filmed by Vetrimaaran in which he will be costarring with actors Silambarasan & Andrea Jeremiah, Inji Vellam scripted by Mani Ratnam in which he will be romancing actress Sai Pallavi, and Pocket Novel directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja in which he will be appearing alongside actors Kishore, Raj B Shetty, & Malavika Mohanan. 

On the other hand, actress Lijomol Jose will soon have her next Tamil release in Kaagangal filmed by Anand Annamalai in which she has joined forces with actor Yogi Babu, a couple of releases in Malayalam via Aja Sundari created by Manu Antony in which she will be seen alongside actor Joju George, and Annapoorni scripted by Lional Joshua in which she has teamed up with actors Rajeev Gandhi & Hari Krishnan.
