‘Sulochana’ From Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma Is An Item Number!
Actor Sundeep Kishan had his last outing in the digital space via the comedy Telugu series Super Subbu filmed by Mallik Ram with actresses Mithila Palkar and Manasa Chowdary in the female lead roles. The Yaaruda Mahesh actor will soon grace the silver screen in his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller titled Sigma. Actor and politician Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, an alumnus of the Toronto Film school, has penned and helmed the flick.
Telugu actress Faria Abdullah will make her Kollywood debut as a leading lady in this movie. The project was shot in many places in Chennai, Salem, Talakona, and Thailand. Sigma is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on 2nd of October. The production house is busy with the final stage promotion work for the film. As part of it, they have launched the fourth single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X account, the team of Saregama South unveiled a couple of short clips along with links to Tamil & Telugu version of the single ‘Sulochana’ from Sigma and wrote, “The Sizzling Song of The Year is Here Sulochana Song. Singer Sanvi Sudeep has lent her voice for the song. Lyricist Super Subu has written lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by Shadab Rayeen. Dance choreographer Kalyan Master has designed dance moves for the song. Actress Cathrine Tresa has delivered a high energy dance performance for the track. Music director Thaman S has brought this song to life with his musical score.
Already three songs ‘Sigma Style’ sung by S Thaman, Smile Tupakeys, & Mc Rude lyrics written by Smile Tupakeys & Mc Rude, ‘Ayyayo Ammaadi’ crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja & Sanjana Kalmanje lyrics inked by Vivek, and ‘Rage Of Sigma’ in the vocals of Sean Roldan & Thaman S lyrics written by Super Subbu, is out from the album.
The action-packed trailer of Sigma, which was released earlier, featured Sundeep Kishan, who is bent on revenge after being betrayed by a gangster ruling a vast empire of drugs, smuggling, and gambling. Earlier speaking to a leading media house director Jason Sanjay said, “Sigma is an out and out action project. It follows an ambitious man in pursuit of his goals who is misunderstood by the society. I have avoided a grim tone to the flow, and have rather adapted a mix of action, thrill, and comedy. I am positive the audience will have a new cinematic experience watching the movie.”
The star-studded cast of the drama also comprises actors Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram, Shiv Panditt, Sheela Rajkumar, Kiran Konda, Anbu Thasan, Naga Sai, Kamalesh, Magalakshmi Sudarsanan, and Yog Japee. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has served as the camera operator for the film. Editor Praveen K L has been contracted to chop and patch the flick. Art director Benjamin M has erected sets for the drama. Stunt masters Venkat and Stunt Silva have fashioned action moves in the project. Sigma is bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran under the production house Lyca Productions.
On the work side, actor Sundeep Kishan is keenly anticipating the release of his long-delayed Tamil movie Naragasooran scripted by Karthick Naren in which he will be seen alongside actors Aravind Swamy, Aathmika, & Shriya Saran. The Raayan actor is presently engaged in his future Tamil film Maayaone directed by C V Kumar in which he will be costarring with actress Akansha Rajan Kapoor, three of his Telugu flicks Vibe helmed by RSJ Swaroop in which he will be associating with actress Shruti Sharma, Power Peta crafted by Krishna Chaitanya in which he will be joining forces with actress Rithika Nayak, and Karikaala Chapter 1 created by Ugandhar Muni.
On the other hand, actress Faria Abdullah is now occupied in her upcoming Tamil drama Valli Mayil filmed by Suseenthiran in which she will be featuring with actor Vijay Antony, an untitled Telugu entertainer scripted Lakshmi Narayana Puttamchetty in which she will be partnering with actor Satyadev Kancharana, and Bhagavanthudu crafted by G Gopi Vihari in which she will be working with actor Thiruveer.
