‘Rage Of Sigma’ Third Single From Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma Is A Chic Number!
Actor Sundeep Kishan had his last outing in the digital space via the comedy Telugu series Super Subbu helmed by Mallik Ram with actresses Mithila Palkar and Manasa Chowdary in the female lead roles. The Raayan actor is now looking forward to the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller christened Sigma. Actor and politician Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, an alumnus of the Toronto Film school, has inked and directed the film.
Telugu actress Faria Abdullah will mark her entry into Tamil Cinema with her role as the female lead in the movie. The entertainer was shot across multiple regions in Chennai, Salem, Talakona, and Thailand. The makers have already announced that the drama will be released in theaters worldwide on 2nd of October. Earlier, they had unveiled a teaser and a couple of singles from the flick on social media. They have now launched the third single from the album.
Taking to their official X account, the team of Saregama South shared a small clip along with a link to the third single ‘Rage Of Sigma’ from Sigma and worded, “A Fiery Track to set your playlist on fire! Music composer Thaman S has handled musical instruments for the flick. He has also sung the song along with musician Sean Roldan. Lyricist Super Subbu has penned lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by Shadab Rayeen. Already two songs ‘Sigma Style’ sung by S Thaman, Smile Tupakeys, & Mc Rude lyrics written by Smile Tupakeys & Mc Rude, and ‘Ayyayo Ammaadi’ crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja & Sanjana Kalmanje lyrics inked by Vivek, is out from the album.
Earlier talking to a leading media house director Jason Sanjay stated, “Sigma is an out and out action project. It follows an ambitious man in pursuit of his goals who is misunderstood by society. I have avoided a grim tone to the flow, and have rather adapted a mix of action, thrill, and comedy. I am positive the audience will have a new cinematic experience watching the movie.”
The teaser of the film, which was released earlier, featured intense action sequences and had profound philosophical inquiries regarding money and life. The star-studded cast of the venture also comprises actors Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram, Shiv Panditt, Sheela Rajkumar, Magalakshmi Sudarsanan, Kiran Konda, Naga Sai, Kamalesh, Anbu Thasan, and Yog Japee. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has cranked cameras for the venture.
Editor Praveen K L has been trusted with the editing department of the flick. Art director Benjamin M has engineered sets for the movie. Action directors Venkat and Stunt Silva have served as the stunt coordinators for the project. Sigma is funded by Allirajah Subaskaran under the production company Lyca Productions.
On the work front, actor Sundeep Kishan is expecting the release of his long-delayed Tamil movie Naragasooran directed by Karthick Naren in which he has performed alongside actors Aravind Swamy, Aathmika, & Shriya Saran. The Kasada Tabara actor is presently immersed in his next Tamil drama Maayaone helmed by C V Kumar in which he will be seen alongside actress Akansha Rajan Kapoor, three of his Telugu projects Vibe filmed by RSJ Swaroop in which he will be starring with actress Shruti Sharma, Power Peta scripted by Krishna Chaitanya in which he will be associating with actress Rithika Nayak, and Karikaala Chapter 1 created by Ugandhar Muni.
On the other hand, actress Faria Abdullah is currently busy with her upcoming Tamil film Valli Mayil crafted by Suseenthiran in which she will be featuring with actor Vijay Antony, a couple of her Telugu flicks Bhagavanthudu scripted by G Gopi Vihari in which she will be appearing alongside actor Thiruveer, and an untitled venture under the direction of Lakshmi Narayana Puttamchetty in which she will be partnering with actor Satyadev Kancharana.
