First Look Poster Of Siddhi Idnani’s Drones Is Out!
Actress Siddhi Idnani was last seen on screens in the action thriller flick Retta Thala directed by Kris Thirukumaran with actors Arun Vijay and Tanya Ravichandran in the lead roles. The Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu actress is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming fantasy horror comedy film titled Drones. Story teller R Raghav Mirdath, who is known for films like Bun Butter Jam & Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham, has written and crafted the entertainer.
Actress Anjali P Nair of Once Up On A Time In Madras fame will be seen as the second female lead in the drama. The shoot for the flick predominantly took place in Chennai. The production house is currently working to finalize the movie’s release date. An official release date for the film is expected to be revealed shortly. Meanwhile, the makers had recently released a promo video for the venture. They have now dropped the first look poster of the entertainer on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, director Venkat Prabhu unveiled a couple of first look posters for Drones and captioned them, “Thrilled to unveil the First Look of DRONES! Get ready to enter a world filled with excitement, mystery and entertainment! One of the first look posters features the entire team seated together, with a character dressed as a witch holding a voodoo doll and a sorcery needle over director R Raghav Mirdath, who is seated in the middle. In the other poster, actress Siddhi Idnani appears as Cinderella before a secluded castle in a jungle while human beings as bees swarm around her. The third poster shows actress Devadarshini Chetan as an aged witch, sticking a witchcraft pin into the head of a voodoo doll in a rage amidst a crowd of poppets.
The previously released promo video for Drones had the entire team talking to a drone, with each member claiming to be the film’s lead actor, before director Raghav Mirdath takes control of the drone and declares that the story is the true hero of the movie. Apart from Siddhi Idnani and Anjali P Nair, the casting crew of the drama also has actors Devadarshini Chetan, Mohamed Kuraishi, Dravid Selvam, RJ Deepak, Sathish K, and Sassi Selvaraj.
The musical department of the movie has been handed over to music director S R Hari. Cinematographers Jayanth Sethu Mathavan has taken care of the cinematography division of the drama. Editor Sathish Suriya has been roped in to chop and patch the flick. Art director R Kishore has built sets for the entertainer. Stunt master Prabhu C has choreographed action blocks in the film. The venture is bankrolled by GM Morgan under the production label GM Morgan Films.
On the professional side, actress Siddhi Idnani is awaiting the premiere of Nooru Kodi Vaanavil crafted by Sasi in which she has shared screen space with actors Harish Kalyan & Sampath Raj.
On the other hand, actress Anjali P Nair is anticipating her next Tamil release in Magenta helmed by Bharath Mohan in which she has costarred with actors Shanthnu Bhagyaraj & Bagavathi Perumal, and a Malayalam release in Shalamon scripted by Jithin Padmanabhan in which she has collaborated with actors Vishnu Unnikrishnana & Dileesh Pothan. The Ananthan Kaadu actress is currently working on her next Malayalam flick Ram directed by Jeethu Joseph in which she will be appearing alongside actors Mohanlal & Trisha Krishnan.
