First Look Motion Poster Of Arun Vijay’s Irulan Is Here!
Actor Arun Vijay last graced the silver screens in the action thriller film Retta Thala helmed by Kris Thirukumaran with actresses Siddhi Idnani and Tanya Ravichandran in the female lead roles. The Oh My Dog actor is now busy shooting for his next action thriller movie christened Irulan. He is said to be playing dual roles in the flick. Story teller M Muthaiya, who previously delivered movies like Kutti Puli and Komban, is directing the movie. He has also written the story of the flick.
Actress Mirnaa Menon of Jailer fame has been cast opposite actor Arun Vijay in the film. Actors Samuthirakani and John Kokken will be seen in prominent supporting roles in the drama. The shoot for the venture is currently happening across various parts of Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi. The production team has completed 25 days of shoot. Meanwhile, the makers have now unveiled the first look motion poster of the film on social media.
Taking to his official X timeline, actor Arun Vijay himself shared the first look motion poster of Irulan and captioned it, “Presenting the first look motion poster of ‘IRULAN’ for you’ll!! M Muthaiya, Shanmugavel Pandian, Nethaji Productions, Samuthirakani, Mirnaa Menon, John Kokken, Ghibran Vaibodha, S Gopinath, Kalaivanan R, C S Balachander, Sakthi Saravanan, Pavan, T Uday Kumar, Nikil Murukan.” Here is the post made by the actor.
Nearly one minute first look motion poster of Irulan begins with an aerial close-up shot of a palm tree before zooming out to reveal a huge statue of a village deity. Then, a black Chippiparai dog, tied to a spear in front of the deity’s statue, breaks free and runs. Then a group of spears arrives by air and plants itself in the ground in front of the dog. The shot cuts to an animated character of a ripped Arun Vijay in period getup, wielding a spear.
The production unit is tightlipped about the rest of the actors that would round out the cast. An official list of artists in the film is expected to be announced soon. Music director Ghibran Vaibodha has been trusted with the musical division of the film. Cinematographer S Gopinath is taking care of the cinematography department of the entertainer.
Editor Kalaivanan R has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the flick. Art director C S Balachander is building sets for the movie. Action director Sakthi Saravanan is choreographing action moves in the project. The entertainer is produced by Shanmugavel Pandian under his production banner Nethaji Productions.
On the professional side, actor Arun Vijay is awaiting the release of his long-delayed movies Boxer directed by story teller Vivek K Kannan in which he has performed alongside actresses Ritika Singh & Sanjjanaa Galrani, Agni Siragugal filmed by Naveen in which he has starred with actors Vijay Antony & Akshara Haasan, and Borrder helmed by director Arivazhagan in which he has worked with actresses Regena Cassandra & Stefy Patel.
On the other hand, actress Mirnaa Menon will soon have her next release in Jailer 2 created by Nelson Dilipkumar in which she has joined forces with actors Rajinikanth & Ramya Krishnan, and a Telugu venture Don Bosko scripted by Gowri Shankar in which she will be seen alongside actors Rushya Datta & Rajkumar Kasireddy. The Burqa actress is now busy shooting for her future Tamil movie Iraivan Miga Periyavan crafted by Ameer Sultan in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Soori & Karu Pazhaniappan.
