‘Ala Bolelo’ First Single From Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 Is A Peppy Number!
Actor Rajinikanth had a release last year in the action thriller movie Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with actors Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The Kaala actor is now getting ready for the release of his next action-comedy entertainer Jailer 2. Director Nelson Dilipkumar, who was in the director’s chair for the first part, has also inked and helmed the second edition. Actress Ramya Krishnan, who played actor Rajinikanth’s wife in the first part, has reprised her character in the sequel.
Actor S J Suryah is said to have played the villain in the entertainer. Filming for Jailer 2 took place across various locations in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Attappadi, Mysore, and Goa. The production house has already publicized that the movie will arrive in cinemas worldwide on 15th of October in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Meanwhile, they have now begun to promote the flick. As part of it, they have launched the first single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, team of Sun Pictures released a small clip along with a link to the first single ‘Ala Bolelo’ from Jailer 2 and worded, “Ala bolelo, Jilla bolelo, Jithala bolelo, Jinthakka bolelo! Ala Bolelo fever begins. Lyric Video is out now! Jailer 2. Music director Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for the film. He has also lent his voice for the track. Lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj has penned lyrics for the number. The track is mixed by Srinivasan M, Vinay Sridhar, Shivakiran S and mastered by Luca Pretolesi. Dance master Jani has choreographed dance moves for the song. Jailer 2 is Anirudh Ravichander’s sixth project with actor Rajinikanth following their superhit albums in Petta, Darbar, Jailer, Vettaiyan, and Coolie.
Actress Poorna has shaken her leg in the song. The song has garnered millions of views in no time and has people grooving to it in short videos. Lately, item numbers from movies starring Rajinikanth have become a trend and served as great promotional material. ‘Kaavaalaa’ from Jailer had actress Tamannaah Bhatia hoofing, and Coolie had actress Pooja Hegde dancing for ‘Monica.’
The casting crew of Jailer 2 also comprises Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vidya Balan, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu, Kottayam Nazeer, Anna Rajan, Sujith Shanker, Abhishek Mishra, Praveen Gadkar, Namo Narayana, Jatin Sarna, Ramachandran Durairaj, Bjorn Surrao, Rithu Rocks Rithvik, and Sunil Sukhada. Megastars from different cinema industries Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Hrithik Roshan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Vinayakan are said to have essayed guest roles in the venture.
Cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan has overseen the visuals and camera division for the drama. The editing department of the project is handed over to editor R Nirmal. Art director D R K Kiran has fashioned the background for the film. Stunt master Chethan D’Souza has served as the stunt coordinator for the venture. Jailer 2 is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the production studio Sun Pictures.
On the work front, actor Rajinikanth is now engaged in his upcoming action thriller flick Dharman created by Ashwath Marimuthu in which he will be collaborating with actors Simran, Raashii Khanna, & Yogi Babu. In addition to this project, the Darbar actor has his much-anticipated untitled film under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar in which he will be teaming up with actor Kamal Hassan nearly after five decades.
On the other hand, actor S J Suryah is expecting the release of his next spy thriller drama Sardar 2 filmed by P S Mithran in which he has costarred with actors Karthi, Rajisha Vijayan, & Malavika Mohanan. The Veera Dheera Sooran actor is now engrossed in his next project Bro Code crafted by Karthik Yogi in which he will be appearing alongside actor Ravi Mohan, and Killer directed and headlined by himself with actress Preethi Asrani in the female lead role.
