Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu lastly entertained audiences in the romantic sports action film Rambo crafted by M Muthaiah with actress Tanya Ravichandran as female lead. The D Block actor is now eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming drama Demonte Colony 3. Story teller Ajay Gnanamuthu, who was in director’s cockpit for the first two parts of the franchise, has penned and directed the third installment.
Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who depicted a pivotal role in the second part has reprised her role in the third. Actress Archana Ravichandran has reenacted her part from the second installment. The shoot for the film extensively took place in Chennai in a special set developed for the entertainer. The makers have already shared the first look poster, and set this summer as the release window for the venture. They have now launched a character reveal video from the movie.
Taking to their official X profile, the production team of Passion Studios dropped the character introduction video of Demonte Colony 3 and wrote, “Every secret has a keeper. Every page has a price. A nearly one-minute clip gives us an account of the incredible effort actor Guru Somasundaram has put into portraying his role in the film. It has a note introducing him as ‘The Librarian’, ‘Meet the mind of madness. Guru Somasundaram ‘The Librarian’.’
A couple of first look posters which were released earlier had actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu as a ghost seated on a throne with a crown on his head and a sword in his hand. The other was dark themed with a pregnant Priya Bhavani Shankar as a ghost seated amidst a bunch of lighted candles.
Earlier speaking to a popular media, story teller Ajay Gnanamuthu revealed, “The project has come along well. Thanks to my producer’s trust in me I enjoy complete creative freedom. I am grateful to Arulnithi as well for his dedication. The audience would have witnessed his evolution as a performer from the first part. His character in this installment will be even more challenging. Many characters from the second part will return with deeper character arcs.”
Casting crew of Demonte Colony 3 also includes actors Guru Somasundaram, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Anburaj, Miya George, Sreekumar Ganesh, Shreekumar, G M Kumar, Vettai Muthukumar, and Sarjano Khalid. Music director Sam C S has been contracted to score music for the flick. This marks his fifth association with actor Arulnithi after their outings in Iravukku Aayiram Kangal, K 13, Thiruvin Kural, and Demonte Colony 2.
Cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan has shouldered cameras for the venture. Editor Kumaresh D has been trusted with the editing division of the drama. Art director G Ramalingam has designed sets for the film. Stunt director Phantom Pradeep has choreographed action blocks for the entertainer.
Demonte Colony 3 is funded by Sudhan Sundaram under the production label Passion Studios along with Manish Singhal under the production house Dangal TV in collaboration with Durgaram Choudhary & Neel Choudhary under the production company RDC Media partnering with R C Rajkumar for the production banner Gnanamuthu Pattarai.
On the work side, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu is now shooting for his next film Arulvaan scripted by Ganesh Vinayakan in which he will be featuring alongside actresses Ramya Pandian & Krithika, and My Dear Sister filmed by Prabhu Jeyaram in which he will be working with actresses Mamta Mohandas and Meenakshi Govindarajan.
On the other hand, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar is currently busy shooting for her future drama Maragadha Naanayam 2 crafted by ARK Saravan in which she will be teaming up with actors Aadhi Pinisetty & Nikki Galrani, and a Telugu entertainer Irumudi directed by Shiva Nirvana in which she will be romancing actor Ravi Teja.
