Actor Arulnithi has earned a reputation for himself in Tamil cinema as someone who picks diverse scripts. The Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum actor was last seen on screens in supernatural mystery thriller Diary which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Innasi Pandiyan with actress Pavithra Marimuthu in the female lead role. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Thus, left the theaters unnoticed. The actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming venture christened Kazhuvethi Moorkkan. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame will be seen in the female lead role. Director Sy Gowtham Raj of Raatchasi fame has written and directed the movie. The project which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time ago, has been shot in and around the surroundings of Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, and Virudhunagar.
Now, the production unit has shared the first look and motion poster of the film on social media. Actress Sivakarthikeyan has shared the first look poster. In the first look poster actor Arulnithi is seen donning a sandal color shirt sporting a large handlebar moustache fuming in rage with a sword in hand. Along with the first look poster, the production team has also released a motion poster. The forty seconds odd motion poster opens to blood cascading in what appears to be wood. The shot cuts to a temple at a dark setup, then zooms in to the weapon in front of the shrine. With a blazing fire we are presented with the title card. The first look poster of the entertainer has gone viral, and has engendered high expectations on the drama. The teaser of the flick is expected to be released by the end of this month. There is news that the production house is planning to bring the movie to theaters for this year’s summer vacation.
Apart from actors Arulnithi and Dushara Vijayan, the casting division of the drama has actors Santhosh Prathap, Saya Devi, Munishkanth, Sharath Lohithaswa, Raja Simman, and Yaar Kannan portraying various other supporting roles. The music for the entertainer will be composed by music director D. Imman. The cinematography department of the venture was handled by cinematographer Sridhar. Editor Nagooran has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the project. Art director Mahendra has designed the background for the flick. Stunt master Ganesh has choreographed action moves for the project. The entertainer is bankrolled by S. Ambeth Kumar under the production company Olympia Movies.
On the work front, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu who was last seen on screens in Dairy is currently busy shooting for the sequel of DeMonte Colony under the direction of storyteller R. Ajay Gnanamuthu in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, and for Thiruvin Kural helmed by director Harish Prabhu in which he will be co starring with veteran director Bharathiraja. On the other hand, actress Dushara Vijayan who had her last outing in the romantic musical drama Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is currently busy shooting for her next film titled Aneethi directed by film maker Vasantha Balan in which she will be seen alongside actor Arjun Das.
