Actor Jayaram lastly entertained audiences in the heist action thriller flick Kara filmed by Vignesh Raja with actors Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. The Ponniyin Selvan actor is now getting ready for the release of his next black comedy film Parimala And Co. Director Pandiraaj, who garnered the attention of audiences with Pasanga & Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, has penned and helmed the movie.
Veteran actress Urvasi has been paired with actor Jayaram in the entertainer. Director Mysskin will be seen in a pivotal part in the film. Parimala And Co, was shot in multiple areas in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Palakkad. The production has been promoting the film by dropping a teaser and a single from the drama on social media. They have now released the second single from the album.
Taking to their official X account, the team of Lyca Productions launched a special poster along with a link to the second single of ‘Tomato Thakkali’ from Parimala And Co and captioned it, “It’s time to groove! 2nd single Tomato Thakkali from Parimala And Co is Out now. Singers Anthony Daasan, Varma, and Pradeep PJ have lent their voice for the number. Lyricist Varma has penned lyrics for the track. The song is mixed and mastered by Lokesh Vijayakumar. Dance master Sandy has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music composers Pradeep PJ & Wayne Pavey (Foxn) have been trusted with the musical department of the entertainer. A single ‘Watcha Udadha’ in the vocals of Pradeep PJ lyrics written by LRC and Pradeep PJ, is already out from the album.
The title teaser of Parimala And Co established a comic family dynamic within a normal household, ending with a twist that divulged the family was under suspicion for murder. The casting team of Parimala And Co also has actors Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Sandy, Santosh Sobhan, Yogi Babu, and Tamil Kumaran.
Cinematographer George C Williams ISC has been behind camera for film. Editor Pradeep E Ragav has overseen the editing division of the entertainer. Art director T Ramalingam has fashioned the background for the flick. Action master Kalai Kingson has engineered action blocks for the project.
Parimala And Co, is produced by director Pandiraaj himself under the production label Pasanga Productions, in association with Tamil Kumaran under the production house Tamil Kumaran Productions, in collaboration with Subaskaran for the banner house Lyca Productions.
On the professional side, actor Jayaram is expecting back to back releases via Train created by Mysskin in which he has worked with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Shruti Haasan, G D N scripted by Krishnakumar Ramakumar in which he will be joining forces with actors Madhavan & Priyamani, a Telugu drama Vrushakarma helmed by Karthik Varma Dandu in which he has teamed up with actors Naga Chaitanya Akkineni & Meenaakshi Chaudhary, and a Kannada movie Bail directed by Pawan Wadeyar in which he has costarred with actors Shiva Rajkumar & Sai Kumar.
