Talented actress Radikaa Sarathkumar was last seen on screens in a supporting part in the crime comedy drama Revolver Rita crafted by J K Chandru with actress Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. The Run Baby Run actress is now gearing up for the release of her next comedy flick Thaai Kizhavi.
Debutant story teller Sivakumar Murugesan has inked and helmed the entertainer. Thaai Kizhavi will be making it to theaters worldwide on 20th of February next year. The makers have now unveiled the teaser of the movie on social media.
Taking to his official X handle, actor Sivakarthikeyan dropped Tamil & English posters of Thaai Kizhavi along with a link to the teaser and wrote, “A story I believed in. A film I’m proud to present. Thaai Kizhavi – Introducing Sivakumar Murugesan, Radikaa Sarathkumar Ma’am in a never-before-seen role. A fun ride awaits you in theatres worldwide from 20 February, 2026. One minute teaser of Thaai Kizhavi opens to a voiceover instructing a kid, “Hey, Gramma is going to come. Better turn off the TV and go to school. If she comes, she will kill you.” The kid replies, “Still two minutes left.” The shot cuts to a group of children running on the streets informing people, “Pavunuthayi is coming for collections run fast.”
Then we have the intro of actress Radikaa Sarathkumar warning a borrower, “If you do not pay the interest by tomorrow, I will disrobe your saree and wreck you. You despicable dog.” She tells another debtor, “When you wanted the money, you acted all tears and tales. Scumbag. Why does a broken mutt need underpants? You shameless dog. You son of a scoundrel. Zip it!”
She beats up a group of men playing poker and says, “Alike Rajinikanth smoking beedi.” Subsequently she takes home a carcass from a meat shop, the shop owner begs her, “Gramma, I have got only one goat carcass.” Then we have a voiceover, “Noble people are dying all around. Yet this wretched hag is defying death.” Following which she says, “Tomorrow even if I die, I, myself will go and lay in the graveyard. I do not have diabetes, pressure or anything. That much strength.”
Unfortunately, she falls ill. We have a character asking, “Oldie will die, right?” Another character says, “She will kick Yama himself and stand steady by his buffalo. For her, only after she becomes ashes, we can be sure.”
Star cast of Thaai Kizhavi also comprises actors Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Singam Puli, Ilavarasu, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Raichal Rabecca, Muthukumar, and George Maryan. Music director Nivas K Prasanna has been trusted with the musical division of the film. Cinematographer Vivek Vijayakumar has been behind camera for the venture.
Editor San Lokesh has been roped in to bring coherence to the flick. Art director Rembon Balraj has fashioned background for the drama. Action director Rajasekhar has designed action blocks for the movie. Thaai Kizhavi is backed by Sivakarthikeyan and Sudhan Sundaram under the banner house Sivakarthikeyan Productions along with Kalai Arasu for the production company Passion Studios.
On the professional front, actress Radikaa Sarathkumar is presently engaged in her future project tentatively titled Suriya 46 helmed by director Venky Atluri in which she will be seen alongside actors Suriya, Mamitha Baiju, and Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon.
