Actor Chiyaan Vikram had his last outing in the likes of the epic historical project Ponniyin Selvan 2 which hit the screens under the direction of Mani Ratnam with an ensemble cast. The entertainer, which opened to mixed reviews, went on to be a massive commercial success. The Cobra actor who is on a winning run is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie christened Dhruva Natchathiram. Actresses Ritu Varma, and Aishwarya Rajesh have essayed the female lead roles. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon has written and directed the film. The entertainer which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony a long time ago ran into severe financial issues that has kept the project on the shelf for so long. But in a recent interview director Gautham Vasudev Menon pleasantly surprised his fans by revealing that the flick would come to the theaters soon.
Earlier the production team had released the lyrical video of ‘Oru Manam’. They have now released another lyrical video of a track titled ‘His Name Is John’ from the flick on social media. Story teller Lokesh Kanagaraj has unveiled the lyrical video. Taking to his official twitter page, the director dropped a link to the lyrical video of His Name Is John and wrote, “Somethings are just worth the wait! Thrilled to release the second single His Name Is John. Can’t wait to see what Gautham Vasudev Menon sir has managed to pull off for all of us in Dhruva Natchathiram.” Here is the tweet made by the film maker.

Singer and lyricist Paal Dabba has written lyrics and sung the song. Fans of Gautham Vasudev Menon are excited for the release of Dhruva Natchathiram. The production team is pushing to bring the entertainer to theaters in the month of September. Apart from actors Chiyaan Vikram, Ritu Varma, and Aishwarya Rajesh, the casting division of the entertainer has actors R Parthiban, Simran, Dhivyadharshini, Vinayakan, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Vamsi Krishna, Sathish Krishnan, Munna Simon, Salim Baig, Maya S Krishnan, Preethi Nedumaran, and Abhirami Venkatachalam portraying various other supporting parts. Music director Harris Jayaraj has composed music for the flick. Cinematographers Manoj Paramahamsa, S R Kathir ISC, Vishnu Dev, Jomon T John ISC, and Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran have cranked the camera for the drama. Editor Anthony has trimmed the film. Art director Kumar Gangappan has erected sets for the movie. Action director Yannick Ben has choreographed action moves for the film. The venture is produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon himself under his banner house Ondraga Entertainment along with the production label Oru Oorile Oru Film House.

On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Rajesh who was last seen on screens in Theera Kaadhal is currently busy shooting for her upcoming project Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga under the direction of Dinesh Lakshmanan in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Arjun Sarja, for three of her Malayalam movies Ajayante Randam Moshanam helmed by Jithin Laal in which she will be collaborating with actors Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty, for Pulimada crafted by A K Sajan in which she will be associating with actor Joju George, and for Her scripted by Lijin Jose in which she will be seen alongside actresses Remya Nambeesan, and Parvathy Thiruvothu.
