Actor Siddharth had his last outing in the digital space via the sports thriller drama Test crafted by S Sashikanth with actors R Madhavan, Meera Jasmine, and Nayanthara in lead roles. Actor Sarathkumar was last seen on screens in the coming-of-age romantic comedy flick Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam helmed by actor Dhanush with new faces as leads. Now, both the actors will have a release via the upcoming entertainer 3BHK.
Storyteller Sri Ganesh, who rose to fame with the critically acclaimed 8 Thottakkal, has penned and directed the project. Writer Aravindh Sachidanandam has been given the story credit. Kannada actress Chaitra J Achar will be entering Kollywood with her female lead part in the entertainer. Veteran actor Sarathkumar portrays the role of Siddharth’s father, and actress Devayani plays his mother. The post production work for the flick has been wrapped, and is slated to hit theaters worldwide on 4th of July.
Earlier this year the production house had dropped the title teaser and first single ‘Kanavellam’ from the movie on social media. They have now dropped the second single ‘Idi Mazhai’ from the flick. Taking to their official X profile, the production team of Shanthi Talkies dropped a special poster along with a link to the second single ‘Idi Mazhai’ from 3BHK and captioned it, “If you needed a sign to keep pushing. This is it . . . Idi Mazhai OUT NOW! Music by Amrit Ramnath. Sung & Performed by Paal Dabba. 3BHK. 3BHK Second Single.” Here is the post made by the production unit.
Popular rapper Paal Dabba has written and performed the song. Music director Amrit Ramnath is set to open his account in Tamil cinema by composing music for the movie. The track is mixed by Nitin Murali Krishna and mastered by Ronak Runwal.
Apart from Siddharth, Chaitra J Achar, Sarathkumar, and Devayani, the casting team of the entertainer also has actors Meetha Raghunath, Subbu Panchu, Yogi Babu, Aalam, Mrithika, and Aarti Desai depicting pivotal supporting roles. Cinematographers B Dinesh Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus have worked in tandem to capture the drama.
Editor Ganesh Siva has been signed in to trim the film. Art director N Vinoth Rajkumar has erected sets for the project. Stunt man Sajid Ali has designed action blocks for the drama. The venture is produced by Arun Viswa for the production label Shanthi Talkies.
On the professional side, actor Siddharth will soon entertain audiences in Indian 3 directed by storyteller Shankar. The ensemble cast of the project has actors Kamal Hassan, S J Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Bobby Simha.
On the other hand, actress Chaitra Achar will soon be seen in Kannada cinema in Strawberry crafted by Arjun Lewis in which she has shared screen space with actors VJ Vineeth and Shruthi Hariharan. The actress is currently working on her future Tamil film My Lord scripted by Raju Murugan in which she will be performing alongside actor Sasikumar, and a couple of Kannada movies Uttarakaanda directed by Rohit Padaki in which she will be featuring alongside actors Shiva Rajkumar, Dhananjaya, Bhavana Menon, & Aishwarya Rajesh, and Maarnami helmed by Rishith Shetty in which she will be romancing actor Ritvvikk.
