Actor Yogi Babu was last seen on screens in a supporting part in the action movie Mahasenha directed by Dhinesh Kalaiselvan with actors Vimal and Srushti Dange in the lead roles. The Otha Votu Muthaiya actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy entertainer Kenatha Kanom. Story teller Suresh Sangaiah, who had previously delivered Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, has penned and helmed the flick. Writer Gurunathan has offered his assistance in writing the film’s dialogues.
Actress Lovelyn Chandrasekar of Ayali fame has been paired with the actor in the entertainer. Actress Raichel Rebecca has essayed a prominent role in the flick. The production house has already publicized that the drama will hit the screens on 13th of March. They had recently shared the trailer of the movie on social media. They have now dropped the first single from the album.

Music director Nivas K Prasanna has composed music for the track. He has also lent his voice for the number. Lyricist Madurai R Muralidharan has penned the lyrics of the song. The track is mixed and mastered by Hevin Booster. The trailer of the venture which was released recently showed the actor as a priest in a small water drought village temple who tries to unite the people of the village to stand up against the government from seizing their village.
Apart from Yogi Babu, Lovelyn Chandrasekar, and Raichel Rebecca, the casting team of Kenatha Kanom also has actors Motta Rajendiran, Kalaipandiyan, George Mariyam, Ramakrishnan, Hello Kandasamy, and Kavitha Bharathi playing various supporting roles. Cinematographer Thiyagu has worked on the cinematography department of the drama.
Editor Ramar R has been roped in to chop and patch the entertainer. Art director P L Subenthar has designed the background for the film. Action master Sudesh has fashioned action blocks for the flick. Kenatha Kanom is backed by R Ramesh Babu under the banner house RB Talkies in affiliation with Jegan Baskaran for the production house Box Office Studio. JioHotstar OTT platform has bagged the online streaming rights of the project.
