Actor Vijay lastly entertained audiences in the action thriller GOAT – The Greatest Of All Time crafted by Venkat Prabhu with actress Meenakshi Chaudhary as female lead. The Master actor is now getting ready for the release of his next film christened Jana Nayagan. Story teller H Vinoth, who worked with actor Ajith Kumar in Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu has inked and directed the project.
Actress Pooja Hegde, who already collaborated with actor Vijay in Beast has depicted the female lead part in the flick. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol of Animal fame has played the antagonist. Jana Nayagan was shot across various localities in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Sivagangai, and Erode. Earlier the production team had dropped the first single from the album on social media. They have now released the second single.
Taking to his official X profile, music director Anirudh Ravichander unveiled the lyrical video of ‘Oru Pere Varalaaru’ from Jana Nayagan and captioned it, “Oru Pere Varalaaru and that name is Jana Nayagan. Jana Nayagan From Jan 9. Thalapathy Vijay sir, KVN Productions, H Vinoth, Pooja Hegde, Vishal M Mishra, Vivek, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Jagadish, Lohith NK, Ramkumar, T Series.” Here is the post made by the musician.
Singers Vishal M Mishra and Anirudh Ravichander have lent their voice for the track. Lyricist Vivek has penned lyrics for the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Vinay Sridhar and M Srinivasan. Dance master VJ Sekhar has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has handled musical gears for the venture.
This is the fifth time he has joined forces with actor Vijay following their superhit albums in Kaththi, Master, Beast, and Leo. Already a single ‘Thalapathy Kacheri’ in the lyrics of Arivu sung by Vijay, Anirudh Ravichander, and Arivu is out from the album.
A glimpse video of the film which was released earlier was politically loaded with the caption, ‘A true leader rises not for power, but for the people. Let us rise together.’ Jana Nayagan is poised to hit theaters worldwide as a festive release for Pongal, 9th of January in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Star cast of Jana Nayagan also includes Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame, Priyamani, Narain, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shruti Haasan, Revathi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Baba Bhaskar, Reba Monica John, Monisha Blessy, Irfan Zaini, Teejay Arunasalam, Arun Kumar Rajan, and Srinath. Cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan has taken care of the cinematography division of the project.
Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the flick. Art director Selva Kumar has erected sets for the venture. Stunt director Anl Arasu has designed action moves for the movie. Jana Nayagan is backed by Venkat K Narayana along with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith N K under the production label KVN Productions.
On the work side, actress Pooja Hegde is presently occupied in her future Tamil entertainer Kanchana 4 helmed and headlined by Raghava Lawrence with actress Nora Fatehi as second female lead, an untitled Telugu flick crafted by Ravi Nelakuditi in which she will be costarring with actor Dulquer Salmaam, and a Bollywood drama Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai directed by David Dhawan in which she will be partnering with actors Varun Dhawan & Mrunal Thakur.
On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju is busy shooting for her next venture tentatively christened Suriya 46 directed by Venky Atluri in which she will be featuring alongside actor Suriya, a project tentatively titled D 54 scripted by Vignesh Raja in which she will be romancing actor Dhanush, and Irandu Vaanam filmed by Ram Kumar in which she will be teaming up with actor Vishnu Vishal.
