‘Muthumani’ Second Single From Keerthy Suresh’s Dorothy Is A Blend Of Modern Beats With Retro Vibes!
Actress Keerthy Suresh had her last outing in the crime comedy flick Revolver Rita scripted by J K Chandru with actors Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil, and Redin Kingsley in the lead roles. The Saani Kaayidham actress will soon have her next release via the social drama titled Dorothy. Story teller Karthik Subbaraj, who previously helmed projects like Jigarthanda and Iraivi, has written and crafted the venture. He has worked with writer Saravanan Chandran to build the drama’s screenplay.
Actors Sananth and Rishikanth have played pivotal supporting roles in the movie. The film was shot in multiple locations in the surroundings of Madurai. Dorothy is set to be screened at Tiff on September 11th. Later, have its theatrical release on 25th of September. Meanwhile, the makers have been promoting the entertainer by dropping a teaser and a single from the venture. They have now unveiled the second single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the team of Sony Music South India shared a special poster along with a link to the second single ‘Muthumani’ from Dorothy and captioned it, “Raaja Trance has arrived to take over your spirits. Music director Ilaiyaraaja has penned lyrics and composed music for the track. He has also sung the song along with singer Shweta Mohan. The track is mixed and mastered by Twerking Class Heroes, Till & Gabriel. Dance choreographer Sherif M has designed dance moves for the song. Already a single ‘Kalyana Virundhu’ in the voice of Yugendran Vasudevan, Anthony Daasan, & Priya Jerson lyrics written by Ilaiyaraaja, is out from the album.
The teaser of Dorothy featured Rishikanth smoking and beating up people; Sananth, cycling in retro style; a gorgeous Keerthy Suresh appearing in a white saree; and ended with the trio repeating the word ‘Dorothy.’ Cinematographer S Thirunavukkarasu has headed the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Ganesh Siva has been brought on board to work on the editing department of the flick.
Art director Jyothish Keshav has fashioned the background for the venture. Stunt master Dinesh Subbarayan has choreographed action moves in the project. The entertainer is backed by Karthik Subbaraj himself under the production studio Dhammam Films, in partnership with Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under the production house Sikhya Entertainment, along with Jyoti Deshpande for the production label Jio Studios.
On the work front, actress Keerthy Suresh is awaiting the premiere of her next Tamil drama Sathyavan Savithiri scripted by Praveen S in which she has appeared alongside actors Mysskin & Shilpa Manjunath, a Telugu movie Rowdy Janardhana directed by Ravi Kiran Kola in which she has collaborated with actors Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna, and a Hindi flick Raftaar crafted by Aditya Nimbalkar in which she will be seen alongside actor Rajkumar Rao.
The Raghu Thatha actress is now absorbed in her future Tamil drama Kannivedi helmed by Ganesh Raj in which she will be featuring with actors Rakshan & Namita Krishnamurthy, a Malayalam flick Thottam created by Rishi Sivakumar in which she will be joining forces with actor Antony Varghese, a Telugu film January 12 Vidudala directed by Anil Ravipudi in which she will be starring with actors Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Venkatesh, & Krithi Shetty, and a Hindi entertainer No Entry 2 filmed by Anees Bazmee in which she will be working with actors Arjun Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Kriti Sanon.
