Actor Jiiva was last seen on screens in the horror action thriller Aghathiyaa: Angels vs Devil directed by Pa Vijay with actors Arjun and Raashii Khanna in the lead roles. The Pokkiri Raja star is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming film Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil. Malayalam director Nithish Sahadev will make his debut in Kollywood with the movie. He has co-written the film with writers Sanjo Joseph and Anuraj O B.
Actress Prathana Nathan, who played supporting roles in Love Today and Parking, has essayed the female lead role in the movie. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil was originally slated to hit theaters on 30th of January. But as Jana Nayagan got delayed, the makers have fast tracked the release of the venture to 15th January. They have now dropped the trailer of the flick on social media.
Taking to their official X profile, team of K R Group shared a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil and captioned it, “Inimel dhaan Aatam Soodu Pudika aarambika pogudhu. The TTT trailer is out now! TTT Pongal, TTT from Jan 15, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil. Directed by Nithish Sahadev. Starring Jiiva. Produced by K R Group. The two-minute trailer of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil starts with a character telling his bride, “Hello Wifey, just 200 km left before I crash into your life. I will be there in a jiffy. Which color do you like?” She replies, “Parrot green.” He orders in a nearby shop, “Bro, give me a juice in parrot green color.” The shopkeeper gets perplexed. Witnessing this a lady says, “Crazy! He is going crazy over the girl.”
We have the intro of actor Jiiva who enquires someone, “Is everything set for the evening function?” Following which we have a character saying, “Elections are close. No matter who we must sacrifice, we must win the election.” We then witness preparation for a wedding happening in full swing. A fight ensues and we see Ilavarasu warning Thambi Ramaiya, “Say one more word to stop my daughter’s wedding and I will kill you.” To which he says, “I will rip your tongue out, you wretched man!”
Casting crew of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil also includes actors Ilavarasu, Thambi Ramaiya, Subash Kannan, Jensen Dhivakar, Jaiwanth, Rajesh Pandian, Sharath, Amith Mohan, Anuraj OB, Sarjin Kumar, and Savithri. Malayalam music director Vishnu Vijay has been roped in to handle musical gears for the project. Cinematographer Bablu Aju has taken care of the cinematography division of the movie.
Editor Arjune Babu has been hired to work on the editing department of the project. Art director Sunil Kumaran has fashioned background for the drama. Stunt director Prabhu Jacky has choreographed action moves for the film. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil is produced by Kannan Ravi in association with Deepak Ravi under the production label K R Group.
On the professional side, actor Jiiva is presently busy shooting for his next drama Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan filmed by director M Rajesh in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Ivana.
On the other hand, actress Prathana Nathan is anticipating the release of her next movie Happy Raj helmed by Maria Raja Elanchezian in which she has featured alongside actors G V Prakash Kumar & Sri Gouri Priya, and Vaanavan scripted by Sajin K Surendran in which she has teamed up with actors Yogi Babu & Lakshmi Priyaa.
