Atharvaa Murali’s Valai Teaser: A Bloody Coastal Revenge Saga! 

Actor Atharvaa Murali last graced the silver screens in Parasakthi helmed by Sudha Kongara with actors Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, and Sreeleela in lead roles. The Nirangal Moondru actor is now getting ready for the release of his next flick titled Valai. He will be seen in dual roles as Kutty and Saraa in the drama. Director Jeeva Sankar, who garnered the attention of audiences with his impressive works in Naan and Yaman, has written and directed the entertainer. 

Actresses Rupa Manjari of Naan fame and Vani Bhojan of Lockup fame have played the female lead roles in the drama. The shoot for the entertainer took place in the coastal areas of Chennai, Rameshwaram, and Andaman. The production house has now dropped the teaser of the flick on social media.  

Taking to his official X account, actor Arya shared Tamil & English version special posters of Valai along with a link to the teaser and worded, “Happy to present the Teaser of VALAI. One minute teaser of Valai begins with an aerial shot of a seashore. Then pans to an aerial shot of a coastal city and to the deep sea. It unfolds as an atmospheric teaser introducing the characters in its universe, and sets a grim and grisly tone with violent action pieces. It ends with one of the characters saying, “If you decide to exact revenge. You must dig two graves. One for your foe. Other for yourself.” 

Apart from Atharvaa Murali, Rupa Manjari, and Vani Bhojan, the casting unit of the drama also has actors Aadukalam Naren, Arjai, Jayaprakash, Imman Annachi, Arul D. Shankar, Thulasi, Mayilsamy, and Murali Sharma depicting various supporting characters. Music director Ghibran Vaibodha will be working on the musical department of the venture. Story teller Jeeva Sankar himself has taken care of the cinematography division of the entertainer. 

Editor Sathish Suriya has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the film. Art director Raja has engineered the background for the movie. Stunt director Stunner Sam has choreographed action moves for the entertainer. The project is backed by Pepsi V S Balamurali under the production banner Raadhu Infotainment.  

On the work side, actor Atharvaa Murali is concurrently shooting for a couple of ventures titled Idhayam Murali crafted by Aakash Baskaran in which he will be associating with actress Kayadu Lohar, Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu filmed by Rajamohan in which he will be partnering with actress Pooja Jhaveri, a couple of untitled films crafted by director M Rajesh in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Aditi Shankar, and other helmed by Akash in which he will be costarring with actress Khushi Kapoor. Beside these projects, the Thanal actor has his long-delayed flick Address directed by Rajamohan in which he will be seen alongside actresses Dhiya & Pooja Jhaveri in the box waiting to see the light of day. 

On the other hand, actress Vani Bhojan is anticipating the release of her long-delayed movies Pagaivanuku Arulvai filmed by Anees in which she has romanced actor Sasikumar, and Casino directed by Mark Joel in which she has teamed up with actor Madhampatty Rangaraj. The Gangers actress is currently engaged in her future movie Rekla scripted by Anbarasan in which she will be collaborating with actor Prabhudeva, and Thazh Thiravaa helmed by Bharani Sekaran in which she will be starring alongside actor Suresh Chandra Menon.
