Ashok Selvan’s Anbil Avan Trailer: A Harrowing Nocturnal Event Violently Disrupts A Couple’s Peaceful Existence!
Actor Ashok Selvan had his last outing in a supporting role in the gangster action film Thug Life scripted by Mani Ratnam with actors Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan in the lead roles. The Pon Ondru Kanden actor is now gearing up for the release of his next romantic action movie titled Anbil Avan. Debutant director R Kaarthikeyan has written and crafted the film. He has collaborated with creators Vignesh Raja, Asha Meera Aiyappan, and Ashok Selvan to build the drama’s screenplay.
The story credit is attributed to writer Vignesh Raja. Actress Preity Mukundan of Idhayam Murali fame, has portrayed the female protagonist in the drama. Anbil Avan is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on 25th of September. The production house is busy with the final stage promotion work for the flick. They have now released the trailer of the entertainer on social media.

The two minutes odd trailer of Anbil Avan begins with actor Ashok Selvan telling someone about his wife, “My wife’s name is Iyal. When we started our lives together, we had one too many dreams, madam. She is from an affluent family. I was nobody then, madam. But she never thought about it for a second, gave up everything and came with me.” Then in a shot he complains to his friend, “It has been days since I spoke to her peacefully for two minutes. I wish to give her the life I promised.”
Subsequently, a cop questions actress Preity Mukundan, “Madam, were you alone in the house when this incident occurred?” Then a character says, “It was unfortunate what happened that night. I, too, regret it.” The shot cuts to an individual denouncing, “As you are in our town, it is now my problem to solve.” In a scene actress Revathi advises, “Keeping a score of what you did for each other, that is not life. Love is beyond that.”
The star cast of Anbil Avan also has actors Revathi, Sabumon Abdusamad, Dhanushan, Kadirbalu, Jawahar Sakthi, and Mahadevan Ganesh. Music composer Govind Vasantha has scored music for the film. Already two songs ‘Aasai Varame’ sung by Govind Vasantha & Chinmayi Sripada lyrics written by Madrashe, and ‘Kalla Nikkiriye’ crooned by Sid Sriram lyrics penned by Karthik Netha, is out from the album.
Cinematographer Gowtham Rajendran has been behind camera for the drama. Editor Selva R K has been contracted to chop and patch the entertainer. Art director Manikandan Srinivasan has designed sets for the project. Stunt director Peter Hein has choreographed action blocks in the flick. Anbil Avan is bankrolled by Ashok Selvan himself along with Abinaya Selvam under the production studio Happy High Pictures, along with K Karunamoorthy and Kavitha Pandian for the production company Ayngaran International.
On the work front, actor Ashok Selvan is currently busy shooting for a couple of his untitled future ventures created by Dharani Rajendran in which he will be performing alongside actors Sasikumar, Sshivada, & Bhavani Sre, another helmed by Manikandan in which he will be teaming up with actress Nimisha Sajayan, Redrum crafted by Vikram Shreedharan in which he will be appearing with actress Samyukta Hornad, and Nenjamellam Kadhal directed by Nirman in which he will be collaborating with actress Avantika Mishra.
On the other hand, actress Preity Mukundan will soon make her debut in Bollywood via Naagzilla scripted by Mrighdeep Lamba in which she has joined forces with actors Kartik Aaryan & Ravi Kishan. The Blast actress is presently absorbed in her future Tamil project Dashamakan filmed by Vineeth Varaprasad in which she will be starring with actors Harish Kalyan & Sathyaraj, two of her Telugu projects Emo Emo Idi crafted by Sailesh Kolanu in which she will be romancing actor Roshann Meka, and George Krish scripted by Sreenu Vaitla in which she will be seen alongside actor Sharwanand.
