Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma Trailer: A Young Man’s Quest For Revenge Drags Him Into A Deadly Trap!

Actor Sundeep Kishan was last seen on screens in the digital space via the comedy Telugu series Super Subbu directed by Mallik Ram with actresses Mithila Palkar and Manasa Chowdary in the female lead roles. The Nenjil Thunivirundhal actor is now getting ready for the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller titled Sigma. Actor and politician Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, an alumnus of the Toronto Film school, has written and helmed the drama. 

Telugu actress Faria Abdullah will make her debut as a leading lady in Tamil cinema with this venture. The shoot for the flick took place across several locations in Chennai, Salem, Talakona, and Thailand. Sigma is poised to release in cinemas worldwide on 2nd of October. The makers have been promoting the film by launching a teaser and a couple of singles from the album. They have now shared the trailer of the movie on social media. 

Taking to his official X timeline, story teller Jason Sanjay himself dropped a couple of special posters along with a link to the trailer of Sigma and wrote, “The heist begins. The two minutes long trailer of Sigma starts with actress Faria Abdullah advising Sundeep Kishan, “Be thankful you are alive today. What if something had happened?” To which Sundeep Kishan says, “They will rob us of our money. They will do whatever they want to us. And we are just supposed to stay silent?” She asks him, “Are you planning to commit fraud?” Actor Raju Sundaram who is nearby tells him, “I am scared, bro. Talk to her.” 

Then we have a voiceover, “Gambling and drugs are two sides of the same coin. Once people get hooked, you can make crores.” In a scene, Raju Sundaram tells Sundeep Kishan, “Give the audience what they want.” Then a woman introduces actor Sampath Raj’s character, “Kotlapadi Veeraiya Reddy. He started out hunting to survive. Not the entire jungle is under his control. Elephant tusks, Caesar, drugs!” 

Subsequently, a mother counsels her child, “Creating something is important. But protecting it is even more important. I have built it piece by piece. Not it is your responsibility to protect it.” Following which Faria Abdullah fumes at Sundeep Kishan, “You will never achieve anything worthwhile in life.” He responds, “I have learned to lose through many defeats. But I have never given up after being cheated.”

Music director Thaman S has composed music for the movie. Already three singles ‘Sigma Style’ crooned by S Thaman, Smile Tupakeys, & Mc Rude lyrics inked by Smile Tupakeys & Mc Rude, ‘Ayyayo Ammaadi’ sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja & Sanjana Kalmanje lyrics written by Vivek, and ‘Rage Of Sigma’ in the voice of Sean Roldan & Thaman S lyrics penned by Super Subbu, is out from the album. 

The casting crew of the flick also includes actors Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, Shiv Panditt, Kiran Konda, Naga Sai, Magalakshmi Sudarsanan, Anbu Thasan, and Yog Japee. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has operated the camera equipment for the production. 

Editor Praveen K L has overseen the editing division of the project. Art director Benjamin M has fashioned the background for the entertainer. Stunt directors Venkat and Stunt Silva have choreographed action moves in the flick. Sigma is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the production label Lyca Productions. 

On the work front, actor Sundeep Kishan eagerly awaits the release of his long-delayed Tamil film Naragasooran created by Karthick Naren in which he has partnered with actors Aravind Swamy, Aathmika, & Shriya Saran. The Maayavan actor is now busy with his next Tamil flick Maayaone crafted by C V Kumar in which he will be working with actress Akansha Rajan Kapoor, three of his Telugu dramas Power Peta helmed by Krishna Chaitanya in which he will be appearing alongside actress Rithika Nayak, Vibe scripted by RSJ Swaroop in which he will be romancing actress Shruti Sharma, and Karikaala Chapter 1 filmed by Ugandhar Muni. 

On the other hand, actress Faria Abdullah is presently engrossed in her next Tamil project Valli Mayil directed by Suseenthiran in which she will be seen alongside actor Vijay Antony, two of her Telugu ventures Bhagavanthudu created by G Gopi Vihari in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Thiruveer, and an untitled film under the directorial of Lakshmi Narayana Puttamchetty in which she will be featuring alongside actor Satyadev Kancharana.
