Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2 Teaser: A Supreme Sacrifice Propels The Deity To Assume Mortal Flesh To Shield A Child!

Actress Nayanthara recently had a release in the romantic comedy movie Hi filmed by Vishnu Edavan with actors Kavin Raj, Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, and Poornima Bhagyaraj in the lead roles. The Toxic actress is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming fantasy comedy flick titled Mookuthi Amman 2. Director Sundar C has crafted the venture. He has teamed up with writer Venkat Raghavan for the story. 

Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is set to debut in Tamil cinema with a crucial role in the drama. The shoot for the entertainer extensively took place across various places in Chennai and Pollachi. The production house has announced that the drama will be released in theaters worldwide on 6th of November. Meanwhile, they have now released the teaser of the flick on social media. 

Taking to their official X profile, team of Vels Film International unveiled a special poster along with links to the teaser of Mookuthi Amman 2 in different languages and wrote, “Presenting the Rise Of Mahasakthi (Teaser) in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam. The two minutes odd teaser of Mookuthi Amman 2 opens in an ancient era where a soldier arrives on a horse back and informs a queen, “Amma! The enemies have entered the village, knowing where the child is.” Then a warrior instructs his unit, “The enemies have closed in. We must save our prince, even if it costs us our lives.” The shot cuts to the queen praying and pleading to Amman, “Save the child. I will make an offering to you. I do not have anything now. Expect my life.” 

She sacrifices herself to save the child. Then a character says, “You were supposed to save us. How could you leave us?” In a scene, actress Urvashi implores Amman, “Amma! We did not realize your worth, Amma! Only now do I realize your worth. Save us, Amma. Come, Amma. Come.” The teaser concludes with actress Nayanthara appearing as the deity, cradling the child in her lap. 

The casting unit of Mookuthi Amman 2 also includes actors Regina Cassandra, Suneel, Abhinaya, Yogi Babu, Ineya, Ramachandra Raju, Nithin Sathya, Urvashi, Garuda Raam, Vichu Viswanath, Singampuli, Ajay Ghosh, and Myna Nandini. Actresses Khushbu Sundar and Sneha are said to have played guest roles. 

Music composer Hiphop Tamizha has orchestrated the musical score for the movie. He reunites with director Sundar C for their seventh project following their superhit albums in Aambala, Aranmanai 2, Kalakalappu 2, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Action, and Aranmanai 4. 

Cinematographer Gopi Amarnath has been behind the lens for the movie. Editor Fenny Oliver has been trusted with the editing department of the venture. Art director Gururaj has built sets for the flick. Stunt director Rajashekar has engineered action blocks in the entertainer. 

Mookuthi Amman 2 is bankrolled by Ishari K Ganesh under the production studio Vels Film International, in affiliation with Sundar C and Khushbu Sundar under the production banner Avani Cinemax Pvt, along with Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan for the production label Rowdy Pictures. 

On the work front, actress Nayanthara is awaiting the release of her next Tamil film Mannangatti Since 1960 crafted by Dude Vicky in which she has collaborated with actors Yogi Babu & Gouri G Kishan, and a Tamil Malayalam bilingual venture Dear Students filmed by Sandeep Kumar in which she will be seen alongside actor Nivin Pauly. 

The Annaatthe actress is now occupied in her next Tamil movie provisionally christened Wikki 6 directed by Vignesh Shivan in which she will be costarring with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Pradeep Ranganathan, Rakkayie helmed by Senthil Nallasamy, a Telugu film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu created by Anil Ravipudi in which she will be joining forces with actor Chiranjeevi, and a Hindi project tentatively titled SVC 63 scripted by Vamshi Paidipally in which she will be romancing actor Salman Khan.
