‘Kalla Nikkiriye’ Second Single From Ashok Selvan’s Anbil Avan Is A Love Ballad!
Actor Ashok Selvan last graced the silver screens in a supporting role in the gangster action-drama Thug Life filmed by Mani Ratnam with actors Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan in the lead roles. The Soodhu Kavvum actor is now looking forward to the release of his next romantic action entertainer titled Anbil Avan. Newbie director R Kaarthikeyan has inked and helmed the project. He has teamed up with creators Vignesh Raja, Asha Meera Aiyappan, and Ashok Selvan to mold the screenplay of the film.
Writer Vignesh Raja has been credited with the story of the movie. Actress Preity Mukundan of Idhayam Murali fame, has depicted the female lead role in the entertainer. Anbil Avan will be released in cinemas worldwide on 25th of September. The production house has been promoting the flick by sharing its first look poster, a title teaser, and a single from the venture on social media. They have now unveiled the second single from the album.
Taking to their official X profile, the team of Think Music dropped a small clip along with a link to the second single ‘Kalla Nikkiriye’ from Anbil Avan and wrote, “A love that left . . . but never really left. Singer Sid Sriram has sung the song. Lyricist Karthik Netha has inked lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by Rajan K S. Dance master Leelavathi Kumar has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music director Govind Vasantha has brought this song to life with his musical score. Already a single ‘Aasai Varame’ in the voice of Govind Vasantha & Chinmayi Sripada, is out from the album.
The title announcement teaser, which released earlier, showed Ashok Selvan romantically modifying a marriage certificate to read ‘bride’s forever,’ and concluded with Preity Mukundan asking him if he loved her and Ashok Selvan replying that she was his heartbeat.
Apart from Ashok Selvan and Preity Mukundan, the casting crew of Anbil Avan also has actors Sabumon Abdusamad, Jawahar Sakthi, Dhanushan, Kadirbalu, and Mahadevan Ganesh essaying various supporting roles. Cinematographer Gowtham Rajendran has operated the camera equipment for the production. Editor Selva R K has been trusted with the editing division of the entertainer.
Art director Manikandan Srinivasan has fashioned the background for the flick. Stunt master Peter Hein has designed action moves in the movie. Anbil Avan is funded by Ashok Selvan himself along with Abinaya Selvam under the banner house Happy High Pictures, in partnership with K Karunamoorthy and Kavitha Pandian for the production label Ayngaran International.
On the work side, actor Ashok Selvan is currently immersed in two of his untitled movies scripted by Dharani Rajendran in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Sasikumar, Sshivada, & Bhavani Sre, another directed by Manikandan in which he will be seen alongside actress Nimisha Sajayan, Redrum helmed by Vikram Shreedharan in which he will be costarring with actress Samyukta Hornad, and Nenjamellam Kadhal crafted by Nirman in which he will be joining forces with actress Avantika Mishra.
On the other hand, actress Preity Mukundan is eagerly awaiting the release of her debut Bollywood film Naagzilla filmed by Mrighdeep Lamba in which she has performed with actors Kartik Aaryan & Ravi Kishan. The Star actress is now engrossed in her next Tamil flick Dashamakan directed by Vineeth Varaprasad in which she will be teaming up with actors Harish Kalyan & Sathyaraj, a couple of Telugu dramas Emo Emo Idi scripted by Sailesh Kolanu in which she will be collaborating with actor Roshann Meka, and George Krish crafted by Sreenu Vaitla in which she will be associating with actor Sharwanand.
