‘Kudikara Nenju’ Fourth Single From Kavin And Nayanthara’s Hi Is A Sad Song About Lost Love!
Actor Kavin Raj was last seen on screens in the action thriller film Mask created by newbie director Vikarnan Ashok with actress Andrea Jeremiah as female lead. The Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma actor is eagerly awaiting the release of his next romantic movie titled Hi. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan will kickstart his directorial career with this entertainer. Writer C U Muthuselvan has helped construct the screenplay for the flick.
Actress Nayanthara will be seen in a character called ‘Devayani’ in the film. Hi was shot in multiple places across Chennai, Chengalpattu, and Hyderabad. The entertainer is all set to release in cinemas worldwide on 28th of August. The production team has been aggressively promoting the venture with a trailer, singles, and final-phase interviews. They have now launched the fourth single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X account, the team of Zee Studio South dropped a special poster along with a link to the fourth single ‘Kudikara Nenju’ from Hi and wrote, “Love is beautiful. Actor Dhruv Vikram has sung the song. Director Vishnu Edavan himself has penned the lyrics of the number. The track is mixed and mastered by Sujith Sreedhar. Dance master Brinda Gopal has choreographed dance moves in the song. Music director Jen Martin has composed music for the drama.
This is the fourth collaboration between Jen Martin and Kavin Raj following their hits in Dada, Bloody Beggar, and Kiss. Already three songs ‘Kannukuzhiya’ crooned by G V Prakash Kumar, ‘Rasagulla’ sung by Anirudh Ravichander, and ‘Pacha Pulla’ in the vocals of Sathya Narayanan lyrics written by Ashique A R, is out from the album. Director Vishnu Edavan himself has written lyrics for two songs.
The trailer of the entertainer, which was released earlier, showed the late actor Bhagyaraj advising his unmarried son (Kavin) on marriage and Kavin’s effort to woo Nayanthara. The casting team of Hi also includes late actor Bhagyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Mirchy Kemy, Kureshi, VTV Ganesh, Fepsi Vijayan, Adithya Kadhir, Kaviya Arivumani, Amrudha Srinivasan, and Sathyan.
Cinematographer Rajesh Shukla has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor Philomin Raj has been roped in to trim the movie. Art directors Kannan S and Sekar B have designed backgrounds for the flick. Stunt director Dinesh Kasi has choreographed action blocks in the drama. Hi is funded by S S Lalit Kumar under the banner house Seven Screen Studio, in association with Nayanthara & Vignesh Shivan under the production company Rowdy Pictures, along with Umesh Kumar Bansal for the production house Zee Studios.
On the work side, actor Kavin Raj is currently immersed in his future entertainer provisionally christened Kavin 09 crafted by Ken Royson in which he will be partnering with actors Priyanka Arul Mohan & Sandy Master, Kavin 11 scripted by Praveen Paramasivam, and Per Sollum Pillai filmed by Ram Sangaiah in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Sanjana & Bala Saravanan.
On the other hand, actress Nayanthara has a slew of releases in Mannangatti created by Dude Vicky in which she has featured alongside actors Gouri G Kishan & Yogi Babu, Mookuthi Amman 2 helmed by Sundar C in which she has starred with actresses Regina Cassandra & Abhinaya, and a Malayalam drama Dear Students directed by Sandeep Kumar & George Philip Roy in which she has romanced actor Nivin Pauly.
