Actor Guru Lakshman shot to fame with his lead role in the Tamil tv series Office. His popularity earned him a ticket to the silver screens via a supporting role in Fahadh Faasil and Vadivel starrer Maareesan. He is now gearing up for the release of his next sci-fi web series christened Heartiley Battery. Debutant story teller Sadhasivam Senthil Rajan has inked and directed the entertainer.
Actress Padine Kumar of Surrender fame has played the female lead part. Actress Sumithra Devi has portrayed a key role in the entertainer. Heartiley Battery is touted to be a quirky sci-fi romantic drama that threads on the question whether love can truly be measured or if the heart always beats on its own terms. The makers have already announced that the series will premiere on Zee5 OTT platform from 16th of December in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The production house has now released the trailer of the series on social media. Actor Vijay Antony has shared the trailer. Taking to his official X handle, actor Vijay Antony dropped a link to the trailer of the series Heartiley Battery and captioned it, “Happy to launch the Heartiley Battery trailer! The nearly two minutes long trailer of Heartiley Battery opens to a voiceover of a male, “Every invention has a problem. But in my life . . . 3 2 1 . . .” Then a female voiceover introduces us to a newly invented device, “This is a love meter. This shows how much a person loves us.” Following which we have a collage of couples fighting and breaking up because of the love meter.
The shot cuts to actor Guru Lakshman asking Padine Kumar, “What is your name?” She responds, “Cinderella.” He introduces himself, “I am Sid.” She asks him, “Why did you tell your name now?” He quips, “Not knowing your lover’s name is wrong.” She replies in shock, “Love?” Following which we have a friend of the heroine cautioning her, “Without checking with the love meter I can tell you; he does not love you at all.”
In a scene we witness Guru Lakshman advising Padine Kumar, “The love inside you is meant to be given to someone.” She then challenges him, “You have 12 hours’ time. Will I fall in love with you within these 12 hours?” Then we witness the hero incessantly telling ‘I love you’ to her. She asks him, “Do you not have anything else to say to me?” The shot cuts to him making fun of the love meter, “You will check whether I love you or not with this machine? And you want me to trust that?”
She confidently states, “A machine will never lose to humans.” Subsequently, we see a character expressing contempt for using the love meter, “Is this machine going to prove how much you love me?” We then have a character saying, “It is hard to know if someone loves you or just care as a friend. The best thing we can do is to blindly trust the person.”
Apart from Guru Lakshman, Padine Kumar, and Sumithra Devi, the star cast of Heartiley Battery also has actors Yoga Lakshmi, Anith Yash Paul, Pavithra, Jeeva Ravi, Praveena Princy, Sharmila, Kalai, Ajith, Iniyal, and Seenu playing various supporting roles. Music director Michael Akash Thomas has been trusted with the musical department of the drama. Cinematographer Coolie Sounderrajan has taken care of the cinematography division of the entertainer.
Editor Nizam B has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch the venture. Art director Raja D S has fashioned background for the drama. Action director Selva has choreographed action blocks for the project. Heartiley Battery is funded by Raja D S in association with Sharanya L Sharma and Edwin Louis Viswanath under the banner house Zee5 Tamil.
