First Single ‘Alaakaa Loova’ From Dhanush’s OM Chapter I: Udhiram – The Blood Wood Is Out!
Actor Dhanush K Raja had his last outing in the heist action thriller movie Kara crafted by Vignesh Raja with actress Mamitha Baiju as female lead. The Captain Miller actor will soon grace the silver screens in the upcoming action crime thriller drama titled OM Chapter I: Udhiram – The Blood Wood. Director Rajkumar Periasamy, who rose to the spotlight with his craft in Rangoon and Amaran, has inked and directed the entertainer.
Actress Sai Pallavi has been paired with actor Dhanush for the second time after their celebrated onscreen chemistry in Maari 2. Filming for the drama happened in parts of Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, and Dubai. The production house has already announced that the movie will be arriving in theaters worldwide on 16th of October. The makers had recently released a promo video for the flick on social media. They have now launched the first single from the album.

Music composer Sai Abhyankkar has handled musical instruments for the entertainer. He has also lent his voice for the number. Lyricist Rokesh has penned lyrics for the song. Dance master Sandy has choreographed dance moves for the number. The track is mixed by Sai Abhyankkar and mastered by Rupendar Venkatesh. In the earlier promo, cops detain a tree-felling crew inside a dense forest during a downpour and prepare to shoot them down, but actor Dhanush arrives just in time as their savior.
Besides Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, the casting team of OM Chapter I: Udhiram – The Blood Wood also has Malayalam superstar Mammootty, Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah, Telugu actress Sreeleela, Indrans, and Chaitu Jonnalagadda in various supporting characters. Cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K has headed the cinematography division of the movie. Editor R Kalaivanan has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the drama.
Art director A Pannerselvam has engineered the background for the flick. Action directors Yannick Ben and Kecha Khamphakdee have worked in tandem to choreograph action blocks in the entertainer. OM Chapter I: Udhiram – The Blood Wood is produced by Dhanush K Raja himself along with Sreyas Srinivasan under the production company Wunderbar Films, in affiliation with Shraddha Agrawal, Sandesh Agrawal, and Azmat Jagmag for the production house RTake Studios.
On the professional front, actor Dhanush K Raja has a slew of films in his kitty in Thamizh Murugan scripted by Vetrimaaran, Ilaiyaraaja directed by Arun Matheswaran, Kalam: The Missile Man Of India crafted by Om Raut, Aayirathil Oruvan 2 filmed by Selvaraghavan, Pudhupettai 2 also helmed by Selvaraghavan, a flick tentatively titled D 56 scripted by Mari Selvaraj, and a couple of his untitled ventures under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar & H Vinoth.
On the other hand, actress Sai Pallavi will soon have her next Hindi release via Ramayana created by Nitesh Tiwari in which she has associated with actors Ranbir Kapoor & Yash.
