Actress Aishwarya Rajesh had a release last year in the action thriller film Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga crafted by Dinesh Lakshmanan with actors Arjun Sarja and Abhirami Venkatachalam in lead roles. The Farhana actress is now gearing up for her next outing in the Tamil Telugu bilingual drama christened Oh Sukumari. Debutant director Bharath Dharshan has inked and directed the movie. He has co-written the story of the flick with writer Avinash Manchikanti.
Telugu actor Thiruveer has been paired with actress Aishwarya Rajesh in the entertainer. The makers are currently working to freeze a date to bring the drama to theaters. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon. Meanwhile, they have now released the teaser of the flick on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the production team of Gangaa Entertainments released a small clip along with a link to the teaser of Oh Sukumari and worded, “Love strikes Damini and Yadagiri like lightning. Oh Sukumari TEASER OUT NOW. Experience the Thrilling Fun & Wholesome entertainment on Big Screens Soon” Here is the post made by the production house.
The two minutes odd teaser of Oh Sukumari opens to an old man sharing his wisdom with a group of children, “If god takes something from us, it means he is going to give us something better than what he took.” Then we have the intro of actor Thiruveer who tells his uncle, “Look for a suitable bride for me uncle. I will marry her. But she should send shock waves through me when I look at her. She should be like a Sukumari.”
Actress Aishwarya Rajesh is then introduced as Damini amidst a marriage betrothal event. Following which we see her father telling someone, “Damini has a small problem.” He responds, “They say you can tell a thousand lies just to make a wedding happen. We are not telling a thousand lies; we are simply letting the truth remain in silence.” The wedding gets through. We have a character saying, “The game has just begun.”
Subsequently, we have Thiruveer telling someone, “When I touch Damini, I feel a shock.” The character asks, “Did it really happen? Then it is Magadheera. Ram Charan, Kajal. Yours is an eternal bond that transcends time.” We witness whenever actor Thiruveer even slightly touch her, he feels an electric shock. The teaser ends with actress Aishwarya Rajesh winking at the camera.
Apart from Aishwarya Rajesh and Thiruveer, the ensemble cast of Oh Sukumari also has actors Aamani, Jhansi, Muralidhar Goud, Srinivas Gavireddy, Avinash Manchikanti, Kota Jayaram, Kranthi Balivada, and Anji Mama depicting various supporting roles. Music composer Bharath Manchiraju has been hired to score music for the drama.
Cinematographer C H Kushendar has taken care of the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Sree Vara Prasad has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the drama. Art director Thirumala M Thirupathi has erected sets for the flick. Action director Wing Chan Anji has engineered action blocks in the movie. Oh Sukumari is bankrolled by Maheswara Reddy Mooli under the banner house Gangaa Entertainments.
On the professional side, actress Aishwarya Rajesh is now busy with her next Tamil movie Sister filmed by Savari Muthu in which she will be starring with actor Yogi Babu, a couple of Telugu projects tentatively titled King 100 created by Ra Karthik in which she will be joining forces with actors Nagarjuna Akkineni & Tabu, and Mahendragiri Varahi helmed by Santhosh Jagarlapudi in which she will be seen alongside actors Sumanth & Malvika Nair.
Besides these dramas, the Kanaa actress has a couple of her delayed films Dhruva Natchathiram scripted by Gautham Vasudev Menon in which she has partnered with actors Vikram & Ritu Varma, Mohan Das crafted by Murali Karthick in which she has romanced actor Vishnu Vishal, and Karuppar Nagaram filmed by Gopi Nainars in which she has collaborated with actor Jai, in the trunk awaiting release.
