Actor Arya lastly entertained audiences in the spy action thriller Mr. X directed by Manu Anand with actors Gautham Ram Karthik, Manju Warrier, and Anagha in lead roles. The Kaappaan actor will soon grace the silver screens in the upcoming Tamil Malayalam bilingual drama Ananthan Kaadu. Director Jiyen Krishnakumar, who garnered audience attention with his work Run Baby Run, has directed the film. Writer Murali Gopy has conceptualized the story of the entertainer.
Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal of Vaazhai fame has portrayed the female lead role in the project. Actress Regina Cassandra will be seen in a key role in the drama. Ananthan Kaadu has been extensively shot in and around the surroundings of Ramanathapuram and Thiruvananthapuram. The makers have already announced that the venture will be released in theaters on 25th of June. They have now released the trailer of the film on social media.
Taking to his official X handle, actor Arya himself launched the trailer of Ananthan Kaadu and worded, “Here’s the official Tamil Trailer of Ananthan Kaadu. The two minutes odd trailer of Ananthan Kaadu begins with a radio bulletin, “Operation Anantha has been declared. In the wake of former PM Rajish Gupta’s murder, intelligence reports reveal terrorists are scattered throughout South India.”
The shot cuts to a man along with children loading a boat to the voiceover, “You know, this city, Ananthapuri? It used to be a forest. The deer grazing in the fields was afraid of the tiger. But the tiger was afraid too. There was a venomous snake at the tiger’s feet waiting to bite it. Always strike your enemy with a sword made in your own workshop.”
In a scene we see the cops asking actor Arya, “Tell us the truth. Who are you?” He responds, “About me? Someone who lost his father. Someone who lost his mother. The real son of mother earth. A Tamilian.” Subsequently, actor Indrans tells him, “When the blood of our dear ones is spilled, we answer with more blood.”
The ensemble cast of Ananthan Kaadu also comprises actors Siddique, Sunil, Anjali Nair, Indrans, Achyuth Kumar, Ajay, Vijayaraghavan, Sarath Appani, Santhy Balachandran, Renji Panicker, Appani Sarath, Sabumon Abdusamad, Dev Mohan, Alsyn Benny, Murali Gopy, Sagar Surya, and Bose Venkat. Music director B Ajaneesh Loknath has handled musical instruments for the drama.
Cinematographer S Yuva has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor Rohit V S Variyath has been signed in to trim the entertainer. Art director Indulal Kaveed has fashioned sets for the movie. Stunt director R Sakthi Saravanan has designed action blocks for the film. Ananthan Kaadu is backed by S Vinod Kumar under the production banner Mini Studios LLP.
On the work side, actor Arya is presently engaged in his next movie tentatively titled Arya 40 crafted by Nikhil Muraly in which he will be collaborating with actress Nikhila Vimal, Vettuvam helmed by Pa Ranjith in which he will be teaming up with actors Dinesh & Sobhita Dhulipala, and Sarpatta Parambarai 2 also created by Pa Ranjith in which he will be rejoining actress Dushara Vijayan.
On the other hand, actress Nikhila Vimal will soon have her next outing in Malayalam in Dhoomakethu created by Sudhi Maddison in which she has romanced actor Shine Tom Chacko. The Ranga actress is now busy with her next Malayalam projects Delulu directed by Shabna Muhammed in which she will be working with actors Anurag Kashyap & Rima Kallingal, Thaaram scripted by Vinay Govind in which she will be joining forces with actors Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, & Kayadu Lohar, and Bruce Lee filmed by Vysakh in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Unni Mukundan.
