Actor Arya was last seen in a cameo part in actor Vishal’s action-comedy drama Madha Gaja Raja. Actor Gautham Ram Karthik last graced the silver screens in the historical film August 16 1947 crafted by N S Ponkumar with actress Revathy Sharma as female lead. Both actors will soon be seen on screens in the upcoming action thriller Mr. X. Story teller Manu Anand, who garnered audience’s attention via FIR, has written and directed the movie. Writers Divyanka Anand Shankar, Raam H Puthran, and Praveen K have offered their assistance to shape the flow of the flick.
Actress Anagha of Kadaisi Ulaga Por fame has essayed the female lead part in the drama. The shoot for the flick took place in multiple locations across Chennai, Thoothukudi, Hosur, Mysuru, Rajasthan, and Azerbaijan. Mr. X is slated to hit theaters on 17th of April. The makers have already begun to promote the film by releasing the teaser and singles on social media. They have now shared the trailer of the drama.
Taking to his official X handle, actor Arya himself dropped a small clip along with links to the Tamil & Telugu version trailer of Mr. X and wrote, “Here’s the trailer of Mr X. The two minutes odd trailer of X opens to a voiceover, “Until you return to India after completing the mission no one will be able to contact you. Assemble a team you trust the most. They will be your only support team. Your mission . . .” The shot cuts to actress Manju Warrier saying, “Is to retrieve the nuclear device and bring it back to India. An international mercenary group has been trying for years to find this nuclear device. Find this network and stop them.”
In a scene actor Arya informs his superior, “If they execute an explosion using nuclear energy, there is no coming back for any of us.” The trailer ends with actress Manju Warrier mouthing, “This will result in a world war. We are about to start a world war.”
Earlier talking to a leading daily about the drama, story teller Manu Anand said, “Mr. X follows the lives of two secret agents who are working on a mission to identify and recover a missing nuclear device that could lead to grave consequences to their nation if it gets to the hands of terrorists. The decisions they make puts them in a tight spot. How they manage to find their way out of the situation is the crux of the story.”
Casting team of MR. X also includes actors Manju Warrier, Gautham Ram Karthik, Raiza Wilson, Sarath Kumar, Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat, Athulyaa Ravi, and Praveen Muthurangan. Music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas has scored music for the movie. Already ‘Haiyodi’ sung by Kapil Kapilan in the lyrics of Krithika Nelson is out from the album.
Cinematographer Arul Vincent has been behind camera for the film. Editor G K Prasanna has been hired to edit the flick. Art directors Indulal Kaveed and B Sekar have erected sets for the drama. Action director Stunt Silva has engineered action moves for the movie. Mr. X is bankrolled by Shri Vineet Jain and S Lakshman Kumar in association with A Venkatesh under the production label Prince Pictures.
On the professional front, actor Arya will soon have his next release in Ananthan Kaadu scripted by Jiyen Krishnakumar in which he will be seen alongside actresses Regena Cassandra and Nikhila Vimal. The teddy actor is currently working on his next venture Vettuvam helmed by Pa Ranjith in which he will be teaming up with actors Dinesh & Sobhita Dhulipala, and Sarpatta Parambarai 2 also filmed by Pa Ranjith in which he will be costarring with actress Dushara Vijayan.
On the other hand, actor Gautham Ram Karthik is staring at successive releases in Criminal directed by Dakshina Moorthy Ramar in which he has worked with actors Sarath Kumar & Janani, Bloody Politics crafted by Manu Anand in which he has costarred with actress Anchana Nethrun, Sippai filmed by Saravanan in which he has joined forces with actresses Lakshmi Menon & Vibha Natarajan, ROOT – Running Out Of Time helmed by S Sooriyaprathap in which he has romanced actress Bhavya Trikha, and an OTT release via Legacy scripted by Charukesh Sekar in which he has featured alongside actors Madhavan, Swasika Vijay, and Nimisha Sajayan.
