Vijay Sethupathi’s Train Teaser: A High-Speed Thriller Aboard A Train Matching Its Breakneck Pace!

Actor Vijay Sethupathi lastly had a release in the digital space via the action crime drama series Muthu Engira Kaattaan crafted by M Manikandan with Bollywood actor Milind Soman in lead role. The Gandhi Talks actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming action mystery thriller christened Train. Story teller Mysskin, who has captivated audiences via his craft in Yuddham Sei & Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, has inked and directed the venture. He has collaborated with actor Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. 

Actress Shruthi Haasan has played the female lead role in the drama. Kannada actress Ira Dayanand will step into Kollywood with a major role in the entertainer. The makers are currently making moves to bring the film to theaters in the month of August. An official release date is expected to be publicized soon. Earlier, they had unveiled the first look poster and a single from the album on social media. They have now shared the teaser of the flick. 

Taking to his official X handle, actor Vijay Sethupathi himself dropped a special poster along with a link to the teaser of Train and captioned it, “The journey begins! Experience the high-octane Train teaser now. Mysskin, Shruti Haasan, Nasser, K S Ravikumar, Ira Dayanand, Narain, Preethy Karan, Kalaiyarasan, Yugi Sethu, Fowzia Fathima, Sri Watson, Tapas Nayak, Street Light, Vijay Television, Saregama South, Riaz K Ahmed, PVR Cinemas, Suresh Rohan.” Here is the post made by the actor.

The nearly one minute teaser of Train opens with a close-up shot of a moving train wheel on its track. The scene cuts to actor Vijay Sethupathi beating someone to a pulp. Then we have a woman in retro style donning a headscarf and black shade. The shot shifts to a woman kissing someone with a cloth over their face. Following which we see actor Vijay Sethupathi chase someone inside the train, and a woman stabbing someone with a knife. The teaser ends with someone getting thrown off the train. 

Train is hyped to be a time bound thriller that primarily unfolds within a train revolving around daily commuters. The ensemble cast of the drama also comprises actors Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Nasser, Yugi Sethu, Sampath Raj, Singampuli, Vincent Ashokan, Kaniha, Ajay Ratnam, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Shaji, Rohan, Thrigun Arun, Ganesh Venkatraman, Suresh Chandra Menon, Preethy Karan, Diya Sharma, Komagan, Selvaah Chandrasekhar, K S Ravikumar, G R Aathithyaa, and Janany. 

Director Mysskin, who made his debut as a musician in Vidharth’s Devil, has taken it up on himself to score music for the film. Already a number ‘Kannakuzhikaaraa’ in the voice of Shruthi Haasan lyrics penned by Kavi Kabilan, is out from the album. Cinematographer Fowzia Fathima has operated cameras for the entertainer. 

Editor Sri Watson has been hired to work on the editing division of the drama. Art director Mohana Mahendran has fashioned the background for the flick. Stunt director Sudheesh has engineered action moves in the movie. The venture is backed by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his production company V Creations. 

On the professional side, actor Vijay Sethupathi will soon be seen in a guest role in Jailer 2 created by Nelson Dilipkumar in which he will be seen alongside actors Rajinikanth & S J Suryah, Pisasu 2 directed by Mysskin in which he has collaborated with actresses Andrea Jeremiah & Poorna, and a Telugu film SlumDog: 33 Temple Road crafted by Puri Jagannadh in which he has joined forces with actress Wamiqa Gabbi. The Maharaja actor is presently engaged in his future project Arasan scripted by Vetri Maaran in which he will be working with actors Silambarasan & Andrea Jeremiah, and Pocket Novel filmed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja in which he will be performing with actors Kishore, Raj B Shetty, & Malavika Mohanan. 

On the other hand, actress Shruthi Haasan is awaiting her next Tamil release in Jana Nayagan helmed by H Vinoth in which she has associated with actors Vijay, & Pooja Hegde, and a Telugu movie Aakasamlo Oka Tara directed by Avinash Arun in which she has starred alongside actors Dulquer Salmaan & Satvika Veeravalli. The Coolie actress is now busy with her next Telugu venture Salaar 2 filmed by Prashanth Neel in which she will be featuring with actors Prabhas & Prithviraj Sukumaran, and a Hindi flick Rashna: The Ray Of Light scripted by Vibha Singh in which she will be costarring with actors Sonali Bendre, Nargis Fkhri, & Kay Kay Menon.
