Actor Vijay Antony was last seen on screens in a cameo part in the romantic comedy flick Pookie helmed by Ganesh Chandra with actors Ajay Dhishan and R K Dhanusha in lead roles. The Shakthi Thirumagan actor will soon have his next release in the family drama Nooru Sami. Story teller Sasi, who previously worked with actor Vijay Antony in Pichaikkaran, has written and directed the entertainer.
Malayalam actresses Lijomol Jose of Jai Bhim fame and Swasika Vijay of Lubber Pandhu fame have essayed the female lead roles in the movie. The venture has been predominantly shot in and around the neighborhoods of Kallakurichi. The makers have now dropped the teaser of the entertainer on social media.

A two minutes odd teaser of Nooru Sami opens with a note, ‘Based on a true incident.’ Then we have actor Vijay Antony asking someone, “What is the catch here? Huh?” The shot cuts to an old woman backbiting, “Can you even call her a mother?”
In a scene we see actress Swasika Vijay asking a man, “Why are you laughing, sir? Do I look repulsive now?” Subsequently, a character says, “We preserve our caste through our women. Only by controlling them can we protect our caste and clan.”
Casting crew of Nooru Sami also comprises actors Ajay Dhishan, Sakthi, Kavya Anil, Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Padini Kumar, Jenson Dhivakar, Bucks, Vinodhini, Thamarai, Kodangi Vadivelu, Muthualagi, Saratha, Sabitha Roy, Abinaya, Moorthy, Subramania Siva, and Karunas. Music composer Balaji Sriram has been hired to work on the musical department of the flick.
Cinematographer S B Darshan Kirlosh has overseen the cinematography division of the drama. Editor Harish Yuvaraj has been brought on board to chop and patch the movie. Art director V Sasi Kumar has fashioned the background for the film. Stunt director Ramkumar has choreographed action moves for the entertainer. Nooru Sami is produced by Meera Vijay Antony under the production banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
On the work side, actor Vijay Antony is awaiting the release of Khaki scripted by Senthil Kumar in which he has collaborated with actor Jai.
