Second Single ‘Nachindhi Machane’ From Vishal’s Magudam Is A Folk Song!

Actor Vishal lastly entertained audiences in the action-comedy drama Madha Gaja Raja crafted by Sundar C with actresses Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as female leads. The Vedi actor is eagerly anticipating the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller Magudam. The Telugu edition of the project is named Makutam. Actor Vishal is trying his hand at directing with the venture. Writer Ravi Arasu has conceptualized the story of the movie. Writers Pon Parthiban and Anand Kumaresan have co-written the drama’s dialogues. 

Actress Anjali of Angadi Theru fame has been paired with actor Vishal in the flick. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame has played the second female lead role in the drama. Magudam was shot across various locations in Chennai, Ooty, and Kakinada. Earlier, the makers had unveiled a teaser and a single from the venture on social media. They have now dropped the second single from the album. 

Taking to his official X profile, actor Vishal himself shared a couple of special posters along with links to both Tamil & Telugu versions of the single ‘Nachindhi Machane’ from Magudam and captioned it, “The Trending Folk Song by G V Prakash Kumar is Here!! Nachindhi Machane / Nachchaake Vachera is STREAMING NOW! Tamil – Telugu. More from Magudam / Makutam.” Here is the post made by the star. 

Singers Mangli and Velmurugan have lent their voice for the track. Lyricist K Ekadesi has penned the lyrics of the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. Dance choreographer Brinda has designed dance moves for the track. The musical division of the film has been handed over to musician G V Prakash Kumar. 

Magudam marks his third project with actor Vishal following their distinguished album in Naan Sigappu Manithan and Mark Antony. Already a single ‘Rise Of Linga’ sung by rapper V7H & G V Prakash Kumar in the lyrics of V7H, is out from the album.  

The teaser of the venture presented actor Vishal in distinct chronological settings and getups, with one of his characters claiming dominion over the ocean. The teaser bears a striking resemblance to the actor’s previous work, Mark Antony. 

The casting crew of the flick also includes actors Vamsi Krishna, Yogi Babu, Jaya Prakash, Thambi Ramaiah, Padam Kumar, Ajay, VJ Jhansi, John Vijay, Anandaraj, Abu Salim, Arjai, and Sabhumon. Cinematographers Richard M Nathan & Abinandhan Ramanujam have overseen the cinematography department of the film. 

Editor N B Srikanth has been trusted with the editing division of the drama. Art director G Durairaj has designed sets for the movie. Action master Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action blocks in the entertainer. The film is bankrolled by R B Jeevan Choudary, B Suresh, Jithan Ramesh, and Jiiva under the production house Super Good Films. Magudam is the 99th landmark project from the prestigious company. 

On the professional front, actor Vishal is now immersed in his next production Purushan scripted by Sundar C in which he will be partnering with actors Tamannaah Bhatia & Yogi Babu, and Thupparivaalan 2 crafted and headlined by himself with actor Prasanna as second lead. 

On the other hand, actress Anjali is expecting her next Tamil release in Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai filmed by Ram in which she has performed alongside actor Nivin Pauly. The Taramani actress is currently shooting for her next flick Eegai scripted by Ashok Velayutham in which she will be featuring with actors Santhosh Prathap & Abi Natchatra, and a Telugu drama Anandha Bhairavi crafted by Balaji K in which she will be associating with actors Raai Laxmi & Thrigun. Actress Dushara Vijayan will soon have her next release in GDN helmed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar in which she has co-starred with actors Madhavan & Priyamani.
