Second Single ‘Manasa Parichaye’ From Madhavan’s GDN Is Here!
Actor Madhavan had his last outing in Bollywood via the spy action thriller film Dhurandhar: The Revenge created by Aditya Dhar with actors Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun in lead roles. The Rendu actor is now getting ready for the release of the much-anticipated biographical drama titled GDN. Director Krishnakumar Ramakumar, who helmed a segment in the anthology series Modern Love Chennai, has inked and directed the movie. He has worked with actor Madhavan to structure the screenplay of the entertainer.
Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame has starred as actor Madhavan’s wife in the movie. Actress Priyamani has played a pivotal role in the drama. GDN is all set to hit the screens worldwide on 17th of July in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The production house had earlier released a trailer and a single from the entertainer. They have now shared the second single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X account, the team of Divo Music launched a special poster along with a link to the second single ‘Manasa Parichaye’ from GDN and worded, “A melody that resonates beyond the music and lingers in the heart. Singers Sathyaprakash and Sanjana Kalmanje have sung the song. Lyricist Umadevi has penned lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by K S Rajan. Music composer Govind Vasantha has orchestrated the musical score for the movie. A single titled ‘The Rise Of GDN’ in the vocals of Maalavika Sundar, Senthuzhan, & Jaxk lyrics inked by Senthuzhan, is already out from the album.
GDN is the biopic of renowned inventor, engineer, and industrial pioneer G D Naidu, who is known as the ‘Edison of India.’ Besides Madhavan, Dushara Vijayan, and Priyamani, the casting team of GDN also has Malayalam actor Jayaram, Vinay Rai, Aditi Balan, Kaniha, Karunakaran, Ramesh Tilak, Nandalal, Thambi Ramaiah, Mohan Raman, Teejay Arunasalam, Sheela, Muralidaran, Richard Bhakti Klein, Carl Andrew Harte, and Sathyaraj in various supporting roles.
Cinematographer Aravind Kamalanathan has cranked the camera for the flick. Editor Bijith Bala has been roped in to chop and patch the film. Art director G Durairaj has engineered sets for the movie. Stunt master Phoenix Prabhu has designed action moves for the flick. GDN is funded by Madhavan himself along with his wife Sarita Madhavan under the production banner Tricolor Films along with Vijay Moolan and Varghese Moolan for the production label Varghese Moolan Pictures.
On the professional side, actor Madhavan is anticipating his next digital release in Legacy directed by Charukesh Sekar in which he has shared screen space with actors Gautham Ram Karthik, Swasika Vijay, & Nimisha Sajayan, Adhirshtasaali helmed by Mithran Jawahar in which he has collaborated with actresses Madonna Sebastian & Radhika Sarathkumar, and a Hindi film Bridge created by Nagaraj Diwakar & Nidhi Singh Dharma in which he will be seen alongside actresses Soha Ali Khan & Sarah Hussain. The Vettai actor is currently working on his future Tamil project Circle filmed by A L Vijay in which he will be featuring with actress Kangana Ranaut, and a Hindi flick Shaitaan 2 scripted by Vikas Bahl in which he has costarred with actors Ajay Devgn & Jyotika.
On the other hand, actress Priyamani is presently immersed in her next Telugu drama tentatively christened Mega 158 crafted by Bobby Kolli in which she will be featuring alongside actors Chiranjeevi & Anaswara Rajan, and a Hindi project Golmaal 5 directed by Rohit Shetty in which she will be joining forces with actors Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, & Tabu. Actress Dushara Vijayan is expecting her next Tamil release Magudam crafted and headlined by actor Vishal.
